Ghost [Official] Rolls-Royce Ghost (2021-)

Wasn't expecting a revolutionary change. This is a Rolls-Royce sedan afterall. The C-pillar has a bit more grace.

The Ghost still has a formal look with much less stodginess that the Phantom exhibits. Minimalism is a theme that has carried inside as well. I wouldn't mind if the wood trim seen all around was a little bit thicker. And it seems that the central screen is always on display, an aesthetic issue that modern Bentleys that aren't Bentaygas and the Phantom have addressed with varying degrees of success.

The drive, I am sure, will only possibly be bested by the Phantom.

I was waiting for the opinion of my friend "dalab", who along with "275others", we have been faithful to the thread of this car.

My initial opinion is that its design is not as bad as Cullinan, but not as good as Phantom. It is evident that in Rolls Royce they pay a lot of attention not to oppose Phantom with another of their products.

In advance it was known that the difference would be in the details, in any case it is quite dietary.

From my point of view as an enthusiast of this type of car, this new Ghost has not stolen my heart.

Regards.
Of course my friend, taking the time to watch the videos and few photos available, I think it is less "groundbreaking" than the first version, but that is understandable, seeing its lines I feel it more opulent but less sporty than its predecessor, (there it loses some of the charm of the first one), it is closer in design to the new Phantom and follows the parameters of its 3/4 rear, inspired by the older Rolls Royces trunk and C pillar and makes this Ghost look a bit more massive or heavy if the term fits.
I liked the approach of the first Phantom and the first Ghost a little more in that sense.

Without detriment to that, I also consider that it looks spectacular, one of the most elegant in existence, exudes luxury and class and little by little the glorious details are jumping to the eye like those endless shetmetals and the invisible joints are to highlight and when I see more images surely I will like more and more.
The interior is impeccable, the dashboard is a medium evolution, it could have been a very different one and it would not have bothered me.

The front is one of the best and imposing I have seen in any car in my life, I could look at it on the street until I got slapped

A good step forward and a big thumbs up from me. Sadly for both me and them, I can't buy one during this lifetime.

Looks like a bad Chinese copy of a Rolls-Royce and the interior is nothing to write home about. Bentley now dominates this segment with the stunning Flying Spur.
RR is now corporate and the management suffer from paralysis to innovate.

It's a clean design but extremely familiar. The BMW inspired interior already looks ten years old and will be in production until 2027!

Yeah, no doesn't do much of anything to advance. It's extremely nice, but "familiar" as was said here. I think it will get a little more bounce as we see it in more colors, but not much.

To me it looks more a Face-lift its not bad no doubt but to think this car will have to last 7 or 8 years its not going to look strong I actually find the interior boring yes quality must be top class obviously but I find the interior really boring.

People, it's a Rolls Royce - it's a thing of substance over style. It looks the way it does because it looks like no other, inside and out. A Rolls Royce has never been a trendsetter - it sets its own standard. The outgoing Ghost still looks magnificent because it's timeless, even old-fashioned for some. The interior will only date when compared to those in its own stable because it sets its own timeline. That's just the Rolls Royce way and - hats off - owner BMW has gotten this right better than ever.

The way the headlights kink Up makes it look so immature IMO. Not fitting of a Rolls-Royce (which should have an expressionless and arrogant face) IMO. I finally figured out why the rear end bothered me so much and it’s because the rear lights remind me of the W205 C-Class. The previous Series 1 and 2 models had a far more elegant look.

There is still something about the First Generation Ghost. It’s practically timeless and possibly a future classic.

My engagement of new Ghost was in one of the viewing rooms at the Welt. But you couldn’t get a sense of the proportions. I can’t wait to see it outside.

I just need to see it in different colors, specifications to make a final judgement. In looking at the videos it's chock full of new, small detail refinements. I'm sure it will drive like nothing else as far as isolation and comfort, but taste wise the Bentley Flying Spur is for me.
