My Father in Law picked up the F/L Macan 2.0 a week or so ago to replace his 718 boxster. In this colour too (Volcano grey?). Lovely thing and possibly my next car.

Lovely interior and I think his has the S/SportDesign pack.

Very impressive. The 2.0L seems decently quick.

Seems a good option for my small family of three as we have no need for anything bigger as the family SUV.
Only concern is the fuel consumption of the turbo-four petrol.

Not sure how popular this car is in your area, but here in Spain I see them from time to time and still manages to look so good when compared to way newer cars like the X3 or the Q5. Its lower and wider stance make all the difference.

It would be my choice if I were to buy a mid-size SUV.

It does look good though I've never been head-over-heels for the clamshell bonnet. And I would prefer ZF8HP over PDK for the daily commute in stop-start traffic.
The issue with local appeal for the Macan has historically been its pricing relative to Cayenne - a bit too close! Now with the new 2.0T engine option, there definitely is a better affordability case for Macan.
Thing is, for a demo model, base Macan you can get an X3 3.0d M-Sport for the same money (spec for spec). That big six diesel is appealing.

I saw today this Macan in Miami Blue color. This color looks really fantastic in person.

Porsche knows how to milk cow, yet another facelift on Macan after MY2020/2021 (possibly .3)!
Still prefers the buttons instead of touch layout to avoid fingerprint and hairline scratches.

- Touch center console
- Front and rear bumper update
- New wheels options

Porsche probably won't make drastic style changes to Macan until next gen EV Macan, as current Macan still considered one of the best style SUV in its class.

If this is indeed .3 facelift Macan, Porsche should just bring the 2.0L up a notch to 300hp.

Apparently a conventional ICE Macan is to be offered alongside an EV Macan. So perhaps the ICE will simply be another refresh of the current model and the EV will be an all new vehicle?

That seems to be the case. This car here will be in the market for another 4 years. From 2022 onwards, the new EV Macan will be on sale as well.

From what I've understood, the EV Macan will be the first of the VAG PPE-platformed automobiles.
