STUNNING! Can't believe I'm saying that about a Boxster! Taking out the Convertible aspect indeed shows that the Cayman could be the big surprise and catch.

As crazy as it is to say, this easily holds its own alongside the 911.

If we thought Porsche was king before, they're stronger than ever right now. I'll even let the Cayenne slide (although the new one is nice, but extremely dull/non-exotic, which is actually welcome considering the first one tried to be more, but fumbled badly). Hopefully the new upcoming dilution-models don't bring them down.

Simply outstanding! The design of this car is far better than I expected, more muscular, less curvy, better balanced. Stunning interior! We were going to trade the current Boxster on a new Cayenne, but this beauty is going to make that a tough decision to make! So pleased they didn't drop the displacement of the S to 3.2 litres as rumoured..

Those are Porsche's numbers. Only a Dyno can tell us how much it's truly making. Not sure if Porsche is conservative with numbers like MB and BMW are.

It is the same engine as in the Carrera, but detuned to 315 PS. There should be quite an easy way to get to power figures of the Carrera. The reason is lower revs.

You can say that again Marcus. It's like a first year's university student's claim to independence from parents - off to a country abroad, off goes the jeans and sweatshirt and on goes a pair of leggings and an A&F tank top. The Boxster is finally an adult. Buyers can now proudly say that they bought a Boxster because it's a Boxster and not because it's "that other cheaper Porsche, that sort of looks like a 911." Given the tear shedding price of a Boxster design independance is important. Buyers want the car to feel special and look special.

Now the Boxster has come of age as the middle-class' man's supercar that is a crossbreed of the 360 Moderna and Porsche 918. It's a smackingly eye catchy car. I'm glad Porsche got the memo, probably from Audi. They have a phenomenal job with the Audi TT which is technically not an extraordinary car by the TT-S and TT-RS are mouthwatering hot.

From my POV the premium price is justified by the chassi which is even superior to that of the 911 and many other more expensive car.
