The front in pictures appear to mimic a toothless mouth due to the bumper design which is not good IMO. Maybe it appears different IRL. The rest of the car is fine. But my favorite 911 were the air-cooled cars.

Yes, I have driven the 718 Cayman S. I wrote about it here somewhere as I was just as disappointed as you. But my point is on the name, not how good or bad the car is. I think naming it the 718 was as good as they could have done.

The timing just seems rather curious as it coincided with the engine change.

If I could spec it, I'd go for something with more green from the PTS selection such as Irish Green or Oak Green Metallic. Alas PTS choices weren't available in the configurator, and this was the only green to choose. I'd spec it almost exactly as presented save for the shouty yellow brake calipers.

That said, while there's more gray in appearance in the pics LaArtist posted, I suspect that has to do more with the auto-show lights. Doing a pic search on Google, Aventurine Green does look nice out in the sunlight and I wouldn't be averse to choosing, but 2nd hand buyers might be. I think it has a nice retro feel without being too overbearing. Aston Martin also has a similar shade that looks like this.

It was a 993 color. Glad they are bringing it back, classy color. The pics Artist potsted, looks over exposed under the show lights and not accurate.

I do have some questions.......but that's for another day.

Lately, I've been on a green kick and it seems like carmakers are as well (the new Lincoln Aviator in that green looks good on what is a potentially very competitive car...something I did not expect to say about a Lincoln...but I digress).

This wasted a good 20 minutes of my time, but it just re-affirmed that Irish Green is still my favorite shade on a Porsche.

SO did the regular Carreras before this also, the Agression is usually reserved for the coming models.
If anything I feel this is pretty imposing looking at base model already.

True, I am tainted given all the time I spent staring at GT3 asses... but even given that, I still think the 992 rear has little too much empty sheet metal. And I think moving the number plate to between the exhausts and leaving the space above empty is the culprit. But minor quibble, the cup holder on the other hand...
