911 (991) [Official] Porsche 911 (991)

The Porsche 991 is the seventh generation of the Porsche 911 sports car. Predecessor: Porsche 911 (997). Successor: Porsche 911 (992). Production: 2011-2019.
So Porsche is celebrating 50 years of the 911. On June 3rd, we'll be expecting a 50th anniversary 991 911.

At the moment, not fancying a red "50" logo beside the 911 badge in the back... that's all

That sounds like a GT3 Cup car (despite the 1000 rpm lower redline). Hard to believe it sounds so high strung and high pitched at only 7500 rpm.

I can't imagine what this thing is going to be capable of.

RWD like the GT AMG? :)

A harder-core 911 Turbo will rise again in form of the GT2, which is set to appear at next year's Geneva motor show. Seen here for the first time in exclusive spy-images, the new GT2 borrows the mechanical package of the new Turbo S, including its 560-hp twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre flat-six engine and dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

A top speed of more than 320 km/h and a 0-100 km/h time of close to 3.0 seconds is expected. In keeping with its motorsport brief, the new Porsche 911 GT2 will ditch the 911 Turbo S's four-wheel drive system in favour of rear-wheel drive. Other features include the new four-wheel steer system.

An RS version is expected to develop upwards of 620 hp when it is revealed during 2015.

I can't imagine what a great car (GT2) this beast going to be, especially the GT2 RS. DAMN!

I think that this isn't a GT2, looks more like a GT3 RS to me. It does not sound like a turbocharged engine.

But it has the Turbo side intakes.
So what? Why can't a GT3 RS have a side air vents?
But you're right, it's kind of confusing. :/

BTW, sorry if it shows I rated your comment 'old' in your alerts, it was accidental (I undid it anyway) , I'm on my tablet :P

GT2 comes with PCCB (Yellow Calipers) the side intakes could be stickers

By the sound it 100% is NA and not FI. This really is the 991 GT3 RS. Like the 991 GT3 has 991 Carrera 4 rear quater panels, so the 991 GT3 RS gets 991 Turbo rear quarter panels, but without the intakes. This is an early prototype however, It might get new one piece front fenders yet and other differences.

Yea I think it is GT3 RS too, GT2 never had center exhaust or share the bumpers with GT3. And of course the NA sound.
