911 (991) [Official] Porsche 911 (991)


The Porsche 991 is the seventh generation of the Porsche 911 sports car, produced from September 2011 to December 2019. It was unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show on 15 September as the replacement for the 997.

Easy, go with the GT3. :)

Porsche has done a great job by offering a 911 range that appeals to almost all sorts of gearhead. I don't think any choice is the wrong the choice. Unless, it's not the GT3...how I love that car. :love:
 
Porsches' model line seems to simply get better and better. And the prospects for the next 2-4 years are enticing. Panamera replacement + derivatives, a sub-Panamera "sedan coupe", the "960" coupe to be positioned between the 911 and 918 Spyder, the Cayenne successor...

This car is an amazing combination of art and science. Who said that German products can't be functional without bing emotional?
 
^ I just read it's 200 kg heavier compared to a standard base 911, and 40 kg more compared to the cabrio

The difference between the C4S and the Targa 4S is 85kg which I don't think is a bad price to pay for a car that will be happy cruises around the city, whipping on wet country roads and looking fly when it's sunny. It's car with a one-of-a-kind roof and a stunning one too.

So would I, but the Targa is pure eye candy. It's probably one of those cars that are more enjoyable to admire in the garage than from the steering wheel. If I lived in a Singapore I would love to have the car parked next to the living room in one of those apartments with lifts for cars.
