Actually you can see a difference in the amount of window switches and the door handle is located differently

Also note that there is aluminum trim at the passenger side of the A4, while the A5 has none. Kinda weird considering the A5 costs more.

The exterior is not big deal, mix of the actual one ( roof line is identical ), with kinda close front-butt softer lines of the A5 and that nail stucked line in the side. For me not a very good mix. Interior almost identical to the A5 but with 2 things disturbing my eyes ( the aluminio thing in the right a la A6 and the cheap looking silver polish plastic in the dash-screen board.
Is this also Walter Da Silva design?

Wow, looks really nice. Modest, but much improved over the old. I especially like the longer hood and the more balanced proportions that follow.

wow im not digging this at all..
i was planing to say.. wow the rear is best in class..cuase both the 3er and C class have weak rears.. but damn..this is not better.. its like them..
on top of that the rest of the car is not up to par with the competition..
it looks old..
NOTE THIS.. a car does not turn modern with some fancy headlights..it takes more..

as i see it now..this car will NEVER make a 6year life cycle..and there will never be a RS4 based on this.. so im expecting the REAL new audi A4 in 3 years time..when this will get FL´ed..
Belive me it will be a huge FL..like the B7..
And who knows..maybe thats audis strategey...

Ok, I would be lying to say that I am not disappointed- I wanted something a little more radical. However, I still like it. I prefer the new interior, looks really smart. I know its modern design to leave out the rubbing/portection strips, but I prefer cars to have them. I feel it looks a little too plain without them. I hope the S model has the big chunky ones like on the current model.

That's a souped up Audi a4...and I still like th new one better. Let's compare a stock a4.

I really think you are judging way too soon. With the A5 and S5 75% of the members on this board were disappointed when it first came out, afterward they grew on it, maybe this will happen with the B8 A4...frankly, i always think the official photos of audis make them look bad.

Now that I read everything in this thread I can say what I think...

The first red photo look bland and boring...And I agreed with everybody that said it's not good. I had a feeling that I expected much more. Then I saw other photos, and I changed opinion. I like it, looks fresh and powerful but again I have feeling it's not a new car. I think it'll grow on me as time passes.

BTW, A4 B7 is very nice and elegant car, especiall with S-Line package.
