I find this thread very amusing.

New A4 being so similar to other Audi models that everybody believing it's a fake pic - a chop of another Audi model.

Ok audiholic might be right here. the red picture comes from autoweek.nl, a dutch site. Remeber the dutch audi site that said A4 is coming 28 august.

Both from holland so believe this might be it guys becuase autoweek.nl normally is first out with breaking news.

PS autoweek has now deleted it from their webpage I wonder why

To our surprise, a reader of Carscoop just dropped the official teaser images along with a few initial specs of the 2008 Audi A4 into our email kindly asking from us however, to stay put until the embargo’s over tomorrow, Wednesday, Aug. 29. Even though our hands are twitching like a fish to post the pics, we’ll honor our reader’s request and just share the initial info along with a cut of the A4’s rear end.

Design-wise, the 2008 A4 is literally an A5 with two-extra doors and a higher roofline –the rear and front end are a carbon-copy from the coupe. Same goes for the dashboard that’s derived straight from Audi’s mid-size coupe. Overall, we were expecting something a bit more exciting from Audi as the new A4 looks too "familiarish" with the current model.

Though the new Audi A4 is supposed to debut next month in Frankfurt, a single shot of Ingolstadt's most important four-door has appeared on the web over at the AutoWeek.nl forums. It appears to be the very real deal, and is accompanied by some specific info, which we've done our best to translate and provide in easy to digest morsels below.

* Details on the new Audi A4
* 4.7 meters long, 1.83 meters wide
* .27 coeffcient of drag
* Base engine is 1.8L TFSI producing 160 hp
* 3.2L V6 FSI available producing 260 hp
* 2.0, 2.7 and 3.0L diesels available
* Six standard airbags
* Interior similar to A5, A6, and Q7

my source tells me his colleagues tell him there are 4 teasers online. silver,blau,and 2 studio pics. I'm asking for links as we speak
