Welcome to the forum mate, I think there there are 3 or 4 aussie C-class owners here, one of them owns a C280 as well. What sort of accessories are you thinking about? the dealership should be able to order any factory accessory for you.

Welcome to the forums:t-cheers::D

Wind noise is due to large side mirrors made acc to EU stupid regulations, about the tyre noise which set do u have?

hi congrats on your c280o and nice to have you on the forum

hey the wind noise i get a little on my c220cdi but i think its those huge mirrors which are nice to see whats at the back but when ever i am driving in city i am worred somebody might knock them

I guess Mercedes finally figured that they had hideous side mirrors for the C class, and they decided to slap the new mirrors that shares the same design as the new E and FL S-class into the C as MY09...
But where are the electric seats?is this even a luxury car?:t-banghea

What are you talking about - you have electric seats. If you want the memory function you have to pay extra for memory package.

my c class c220cdi has semi electric seats.i just love the car its fantastic little car

i actually dont see the reason to change the mirrors unless its to reduce wind noise i liked the design from the front view only the size is big but let me tell you it is very helpful to see the rear you see a lot....

I know I had two W204 C classes in the last two years. You really see much but the wind noise is something that really bothered me.

These new mirrors do make you see less but the wind noise is down. So in either situation it is a win - lose.

All of them are Avantgarde but this time I went with Avantgarde + AMG Sport package so it looks much sportier this time.

I want to do a review on Member car section but I get some error message. I contacted administrator and hope they will fix it soo so I can get the review up and running. Stay tuned.

nice upgrade if there was 1 tiny thing that botherd me about the C it was the dumbo ears..
And these new mirrors look alot better:D

I don't like the new side mirrors. The ones on the facelifted CLS are the most attractive ones.

Ok guys serious question here. To all the W204 owners who have it with 7G automatic - can you use the brake pedal to stop the car at let's say red light and still have the car in D position and than when you take your foot off the brake the car stays at place until you accelerate.

It is a future where you use normal braking preassure to stop the car and than push it a little more in and the car doesn't move even if you take your foot of the brake pedal.

I know when I tested the E class it had this fantastic future but on my car is just not existant:t-hands:

Yes, the brakes does that and I like it, however at 1st at a slight incline, it cought me out a bit, it took a 2nd to release after you started to accellerate, feels like handbrake is still on.

I don't know man if we mean the same future - I know about the hill hold function.

Why I'm saying this is because my dealer told me that what I mean is only avaliable on the E class and that it is not possible to have this future on the W204 C class.

Now I'm really confused.
