great shot.....now i would like to know how's the doors work...:eusa_pray:confused:

I'm not a big fan of retro looks, but this one looks awesome! Still the front grill looks odd to me! :t-cheers:

I'm impressed by the rear, it really reminds me of the original 300SL gullwing. Front is impressive too, great car!

LOL..post of the day:usa7uh::t-cheers:

Ha ha...thanks man. But it truly is.

I seen it tonight in Frankfurt coming off a transport.
I have a new favourite Mercedes now . What I like about it is it's simplicity in it's design. it flows perfectly and fluidly not like the angled mess on the E-Klasse , although the E T modell carries it off better like the GLK.

As a design it is up there with recent models such as the Ferrari 458 Italia and Rolls-Royce Ghost who have done everything right to make them eye catching beautiful designs without being overly complex.

You just gotta love clean lines. I honestly can't find a bad angle on this car.

Because of the long nose, the engine has to be moved back for optimal weight balance.

Yeah i know that,i was just admiring where it was located to fulfill the mid-front configuration.:usa7uh:

LOL, but the other way around. They built the nose long so they could position the engine way back. :D

Haha crazy..it's almost 3.00am here and i can't sleep.:D

technicially this is the pinnacle of Mercedes motorsport, design wise, i have a nagging feeling that some things are a bit out of place, most notbaly the headlamps which sould have been executed IMO in a more interesting manner instead of the lazy slope wrap around form.

all in all, bar the headlights which i find appaling given the overall nature of the car, this indeed is one fine automobile by mercedes benz. in fact maybe my new favorite.

the crucial issue is if it can justify its existence by not suffering from the identity crisis the SLR had. is it a real supercar, i.e. can it measure to a comparable ferrari, mclaren or what have you? or is it a true GT and in this way can it measure to an aston martin fr example? or i it still a compromised automobile not knowing on which side of the fence it must fight? only time will tell.

but i know i shall be watching this one very closely.

Absolutely fantastic, I didn't expect the car to look this good. I am also surprised that it was leaked by a boring australian website.

Classic yet so modern! Amazing Mercedes!

We need high-res for wallpaper!!!

Plenty of room under the hood for a pair of turbos. Plenty of room on the side scoops for a "black series" label.
