In it’s natural habitat...

my options of a one-piece rear light

as one said...the rear is sexy and dynamic, but it looks too much the same as an mopf W213 on the autobahn...

my options are more aristocartic again

Really nice work last one is evolution of current and looks nice but if I must be honest I actually prefer the Original one by Gordon and his team.

Like David said there is Augmented Reality HUD, Digital Lights also others I can think of are the illuminated seat belt buttons, closing and opening the sunroof by gesture control, automatic opening of the rear sunshades when the driver turns his head backwards, rear seat front facing airbags, the car can adjust the seat, mirrors etc. for you based on your dimensions, heating elements in the headrest cushions, armrests and door panels, 3D drivers instrumentation screen, voice activation from all seats of the car of infotainment, ventilation, etc. Sharing of music, phone calls etc. from front seat infotainment screen to rear seat screens.

You just reinforced my point, thank you :)

I do not find the actual production cars' taillamps unattractive. Replace the chrome connecting strip with a light band ala EQ and they would be, in my eyes, perfect.

The second choice is classic 70's and 80's style Mercedes tail light retro design. I kinda like this alot

Is it possible to see something similar to the 222 coupe or 213 coupe? I know that does encroach into the trunklid making it a two-piece unit, but I've come to terms with that design aspect. I am more annoyed with the triangular shape. I think a simpler shape that emphasized width would do wonders.

The positive things I have to say about the 223's rear lights is that 1) the reverse lights are no longer on or below the bumper, and 2) the light elements are interesting. Though, I do wish they brought back that stardust effect...that was too short-lived IMO.

You don't need 200 buttons, you need a few and the rest of the functions can be relegated to the main screen. Both the Panamera and the Continental GT have nailed this and managed to do something so much more beautiful then a huge vertical screen.

The only physical buttons in the porsche are temperature and fan controls. Everything else is an inconvenient sensor/button hybrid. So Panamera didn't nail this. And it is made out of gloss black plastic. So it looks as messy as a touch screen.
