As i said in the 7er thread:
I still think if this car would get an proper 500-600 hp V8 and a sportier looking steering wheel, i would take this over every Bimmer G70 and over the Merc W223.
This design is so freaking cool, sleek, sporty amd unique. Chapeau to Genesis for this masterpiece.

How predictable you are.
Of the 1,500 photos on the 7 series in the internet, you chose the worst, in lighting, framing, quality and with 14" wheels.....
If the Genesis were as good as you say, that wouldn't have been necessary, would it?

The g90 is an achievement for Genesis, it got everyone's attention, it's very nice, too bad that when it took the step forward, Mercedes and BMW gave two or three and it shows.

That and that I have already seen two three videos in which they indicate that its handling leaves something to be desired and even makes its occupants dizzy and sick due to how poorly calibrated the 4-wheel steering system is, it makes it not the round product that it should be for the segment and live up to it.

I took real life pictures from the same angle.
Unfortunately the G70 is not the most beautiful car, neither if i would take the offficial trimmed and photoshoped pictures. Its a total design mess.

I did drive the w223, but i didnt drive the g70 and the G90, so i cant argue about their driving dynamics, all i was saying was, that the G90 looks so unique and better then the S and 7, that if it would get a proper V8 i would prefer it over the germans design-wise.

the truth hurts : thats how the 7er looks, when a little dirty, parked on a parking with light reflectors
Also the G90 on that pic was a little dirty and parked in a darker room.
Therefore a true comparison from real life.
Forget about those fake and trimmed official pictures, this is the real deal, this is how it looks for real, in “the nature”. This is how we will see it mostly of the time.

Also this one is a pic from real life l, in its natural habit, from the street and yes it looks quite horrible compared to the shoped official pictures. In the front milions of lines, the rear total calm (but total korean), abnormal long overhangs and the wheels are looking like 14” ..

@Mr. Mercedes - indeed, I had a S of some sort since the early 2000’s, so they still seem to be doing it right in the grand scheme of things.

If I'd buy another S, this would be the colour. I love it. Fits right in the colour spectrum of it's ancestors, like Ikonengold metallic

However i also like the 223, i must confess, that nothing bests this rear and side profile. For me the 222 is the most beautiful S-Class, also the Cockpit which combines classic and modern (i really dont like the 223 cockpit with its squareness and big Tesla touchscreen).
But yeah, lets go back to the exterior…this one piece rear lights, with stardust graphic - just WOW! And the dropping line, so aristocratic. Also this aragonit silber fits the 222 like a glow.

At this particular car one can see how well it is designed. Correct if I’m wrong @sl123 , but this is a normal off the rack (not meant to be disrespectful), non-AMG line W222 and it just looks perfect. The best looking S since W126.
