S-Class (W223) [Official] Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W223)

The Mercedes-Benz W223 is the seventh generation of the S‑Class full-size luxury sedan, produced by Mercedes-Benz since 2020. It replaces the W222 S‑Class which had been produced since 2013.

Perfectly modernized, the new design is a huge success, it has the essence of the W222, but at the same time it sets the standard for how to update and make another instant classic.
A pity that for an "evolutionary" car at first glance, they have advanced so many photos but still, the WOW factor of seeing it in certain official photos is even more meritorious, (I literally said WOW out loud seeing a couple of those profile photos ).
Talk to me about grills, now naked its enormity is seen without looking like it,, following the correct trend.

That more rectilinear front is a pleasure to look at, the back looks better than I expected and does not clash, but the profile ... is what the spy photos even camouflaged announced (and I mentioned at the time that there was something glorious hidden there), and surprise, this profile is a beauty, even better than the precious W222.

Sorry to repost this pictures, but look at that, a modern work of art, that stance........

They presented the car two hours ago and there are already three threads! I think it is totally unnecessary since everything falls apart, what is wrong with leaving one alone for a couple of days until things calm down and being able to see and comment on photos, texts and videos in the same place at the highest moment?
In this way it is quite diluted, my humble opinion

classic thud from the door closing.

I must say, as someone who has not been a big fan of the S class styling through the years, this iteration is really well done. It looks very sporty and athletic, especially in side profile. Inside looks sublime as usual too.

I'm trying really hard to like this but i just can't. It feels like a step back in design. There are some really fantastic detailing in the cabin but nothing more than that. Maybe I'll like it when I see it in the flesh.

A clean design inside out, as opposed to the W222. A very coherent design, bravo MB. But... W222 is still my personal favourite S.

Will have to get used to the tacked on screens though.. and the steering wheel is seriously ugly AF. Plastic galore. Is it the same as the one in the E class facelift? It really needs to go asap.

Now we understand why the E class facelift went so far, it was really to keep the E selling after the design language change.

The only weakness in this design is that the rear looks too generic. Not saying it's ugly, but at least there's nothing special about the rear end that makes the statement that "i am a S class". For example, the W140 was similar enough to the W124, yet the W140 had that white/reflector strip below the rear lights that runs across the trunk, which just somehow adds that flagship touch to it. Not so apparent in this generation, in fact if the number plate is placed at the bumper, it would probably be strikingly similar to the CLS.
