S-Class (W223) [Official] Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W223)

The Mercedes-Benz W223 is the seventh generation of the S‑Class full-size luxury sedan. Body Styles: W223 (standard), V223 (long), Z223 (limousine, Mercedes-Maybach). Predecessor: S‑Class (W222). Successor: S-Class (W224) [expected]. Production: 2020- Model years: 2021-
For the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, see Mercedes-Maybach S-Class (Z223)
In certain configurations like that one in black, the technology is in the background, it looks more sober and those large and wide wood covers (of the correct material and color), look quite luxurious.

Did they started the drive of new S? What does this article says? Any link?

That would be my choice
- non AMG
- exclusive line
- designo white
- black interior
- if designo could make me this zebrano wood
- the alloys are nothing special, so actually i could go also with the 18'' for winter, but buy me some 20-21'' from Brabus or Lorinser

This color combination would have some nostalgic thing for me, because
- 1994 my family drove an E280 (W124 mopf2) in white with zebranno
- and in 2015 i owned an 2012 V221mopf S500 BE 4m L in designo white :)

This is a another classic, so much like a W126 interior colour scheme. I kinda love it.

This beige coloured quilted nappa leather looks really warm looking.

I would love to see the new S-class with some classic velour seats, would be a blast from the past.

There should be no excuse for Mercedes on this new S-Class. It's a new factory and they should be able to offer any exterior or interior color that they've ever had, if you're willing pay for it. I wanna see a dark blue leather, the old palomino tan leather from the 80's, tobacco too. What about smoke silver, dessert taupe, and other colors that the W124 used to sport so well. Of course you should have the option to spec that center console with the same wood as the rest of the interior or keep the plastic, which works in that black interior. You guys should see the amount of colors you can do with the G-Class under the G manufaktur program. The S should have the same thing. It's a beautiful car inside and out, with that screen behind the steering wheel being the only nit pick for me. What Mercedes absolutely did 10000000 times right is removing the need to get the AMG pack to get a good looking S-Class. The car looks perfect with it and now without it. That is something I hope translates over to the next C-Class.

when the leaked photos came out, I said "I don't like"

now, once revealed, I can only say "I'm in love with the new S"

Perfect in all perspectives, elegant, fluid and charming (reminiscent of the W126).

With the first versions like this, over the years it could be the most successful S of all time.

It'd be nice to see some more bespoke touches Deep Sea Blue leather or Tobacco, but considering Daimler is in belt-tightening mode, I am not surprised. I am not too crazy of what's being offered. Carmine Red seems odd in an S sedan.

It would be nice if they would offer all those choices for the interior. I think the choices are very limited. I think it was mentioned somewhere the US will not even have the option of four place seating.

Even if MB is tightening their belt they could at least offer options on the S-Class and go cheap/limited options on the lower models.

Special mention for the new seats beyond the stripes (nice nod to the past) or the diamonds, I like the new structure without edges, seams, or several parts but a single piece covering up to the top.

I wanna play too. AMG 21" wheels without the AMG package on the exterior. Wooden center console and round bottom AMG steering wheel on the interior.

The million dollar question that half the forum is dying to know!!!! How did you configure that timber console???? I'm incredibly glad to see it can be achieved!

Yeah I don't get that. They're offering it on the G so they S should too. Make people pay for the options. They will do it. It's a luxury vehicle, not a family sedan. These buyers can afford it.

In the Extras/Equipment/Interior it is the last option you can pick, gotta scroll a bit to reach it.

In the Swiss and the German Configurator, there are only two options:
- Center console, mixed fabric look, black silver
- Center console glass look black

Then I think it was indeed photoshop

What do the ones in the 7-series look like they came from? Don't remember you ever commenting on it there...

I'm a fan of BMW interiors and have always especially liked that of the G11/12 7ers. But somehow, it's become "old school" quite rapidly.

Even an old guy like me can embrace the future, I reckon... And I'm diggin' the W223s' interior more and more.
