LOL, Is that all BMW Marketing can come up with..LOL..Cawking about Efficient Dynamics..lol...haahhaha...its soooo sad....especially after the joke of a launch of the X-5 and x-6M...

:t-cheers:

Anyone who understands where the car market is going will appreciate just how big of an advantage this really is. A fan boy stuck in the dogma of mine is better then yours will obviously not.

I just love this new facelift s class it is just awesome.

Yesterday i drove my dads S350 for around 200 kms and i tell you that car is just amazing its i so comfortable the seats are awesome the ride quality is just jsut awesome.I can not explain the ride it just has to be felt to be appreciated. To those who have not driven a new S i advise you go drive one it is just mindblowing.

TO the face lift i think its perfect i also like that new aliminum the way its intergrated below the wood in the centre part off the dash below the buttons subtle changes but awesome.

I love the current S my dad has and i just cant wait to see and drive the facelift..

S-class looks good with AMG kit yes but without I find the car dull, the new 7er looks more exciting and elegant. I only wish BMW offered a M-package for the car, it would improve the design a lot. Just look at the S-class with AMG kit and without it.

That applied for the pre-facelifted but the facelift has fixed the problem of the under-designed bumper. If the car below looks dull, then I don't know what exciting is. Not all cars are meant to have monster warthog sized front bumpers like the X6-M. The facelifted S-class looks perfectly fine without AMG kit.

The DESIGNO Mercedes Benz S Class is better in my eyes to anything BMW has released so far with the F01 and F02 7 Series. I much prefer the 7 Series of any normal S Class but the DESIGNO is a totally different ball park. BMW need to step it up a level and offer a more exclusive 7 Series. I was hoping the 760Li, being the top of the range BMW, would bring a new atmosphere of luxury and indulgence but it hasn't...

I agree with centurion the car looks amazing even without Amg pack their is no ways the S class facelift can be called dull or boring this car looks great front and rear. Its perfect...

^^
Preach. There is nothing wrong with the car now.

Some of the Individual F01 interiors we've seen are dead beautiful though.

Happens to be the interior I ordered with my 750i :D

I meant in terms of identification of 'special' models, MB have the exterior more befitting of the special aura these cars should be protruding in respect to the 'base' models...

^thats better than the Pre FL..but you wont see many of those on the streets..
If you have S money then you have LED money..
And thank god for that..:)

PS
The white wood is called Champagne white pianowood..;)

Great facelift. New front bumper and tail lights looks great - I am glad they lost the old strips. The grill on S600 is a bit overdone with the split lines. Also why the heck would they rehash the wheels last seen on the previous 3er on the uber S600 when they have so many other better designs available.

Because there were no pictures, here is the "standard" W221 with double fog lights - and even this doesn't look bad at all:

It's not THAT bad, and probably won't be much noticeable IRL...
But what a rubbish idea, quad-fogs are they insane? And they are so happy with it, they're fitting them to every single car now...

Maybe they found a big stock of round fogs somewhere that they had forgotten about, need the place to store something else there, and therefore are putting many many fogs to every car till all those foglamps are gone?

Brabus dont sell many cars. MB probably bought many leftovers from Brabus ;)

And thats the reason why BMW has launched 2 M SUVS...?...Its amazing from all the bigg talk about there much vaunted M Philosophy, Bmw is now Trying 2 hide behind Efficient Dynamics.....Typical Marketing BS......Guess anything coming from BMW need 2 be regarded as a pinch of salt....

The exterior design is one thing and the interior design is another thing. Like I say I much prefer an AMG packed FL S-Class over a F01 with a good rims, the interior design of the F01 is just brilliant, it´s just what it has to be, with buttons again, I´ve never liked the E65 design because it´s the same as with the W221, all compartiments and a few buttons only.

So for my, forgetting about quallity and those things, is the interior design what makes the F01 interior better for me than the W221.

It's not THAT bad

But to we need them? No
Do they cure world hunger? No
Would life be better without them? Yes

They are a highly unnecessary detail that ruins the harmony of the car. Most of the new Mercs have quite angular shapes making the oval fog lights look severely out of place. Like you said they seem to be so damn proud of them too. Mercedes need to give their chief designer a Max Mosley spanking as the double fogs will make the cars age really badly. They will regret this in 3-5 years time. no words in the world can depend them from an aesthetic point of view.

Or, now try and follow me on this one without being blinded by your stern anti-BMW dialogue, BMW offer a diverse range of vehicles that cater to all aspects of the market - PAS aside. Not everyone is caught up on "climate change" and will still search for a mean, anti-green, speeding machine. Others want to know they 'helping' the environment by releasing less harmful by-products. Two markets - a sensible company would cater for both.
