I saw a S560 4matic coupe yesterday and I still cant believe how stunning it looks. Hard to believe this S-coupe has been out 5 years already. It still looks fresh, not aged at all.

Is this model totally finished then, or will it receive any more updates? Insane discount on them at the moment, but I don't know what the replacement model is, it's not a GT as no rear seats, it's not going to be the GT4 door or EQS as they are both 4 doors and the SL is hardly going to have 2 doors and 4 seats...so...what an odd decision!?

The model is done. The next-generation SL will fill in with its 2+2 seating arrangement. The rear seats of an S-class coupe/convertible are rarely used, but even so it will be an adjustment for customers. Especially since the next-gen SL will take on a sportier demeanor.

I truly hope the next SL will have as much of a visual impact as the S cabriolet face/lift.
If it is one thing the S is good at, is sheer substance and character.

What a tasteful example. Seeing configurations such as these actually make me a bit sad to see the C/A217 go. Perhaps M-B will "revisit" the model lines' spiritual theme sometime further down the road.

I don’t quite mind them merging the SL and GT range but this car is Mercedes. It’s their halo product. F*** Maybach.. this is like a punch in the gut.

When I was a kid my fav toy was a matchbox 1986 560SEC. Something I aspired to own one day. This makes me so sad..

I had one of these too. Yes it was my favorite too. It and a Lincoln Continental 2-door. Why I destroyed these is beyond me.
