Latest Benz designs look so utterly overdone.

They remind me of Honda / Acura + Cadillac designs.


So, American + Japanese = new German?

It's not overdone by any means. It is a logical evolution of the pre-FL. But yes, it has some CR-V clues in the front bumper.

It is only the AMG that is overdone, ricey and too much. Not the car itself, only the AMG model. I guess it's intended for the US clients...Not sure if it really is what they want...

For the steering, I think the W212 E-Class will have the chrome too.
I like this steering. It's better than the one in the W204, while somehow not that different. It's modern, and elegant.

After a few day and photo sets many will start saying this FL looks brilliant.Isn't that the same story will all Mercedes vehicles.IMO it looks much better than the pre-FL and even the AMG one looks mean.

i am not too fond of recent mercedes facelifts, this and the sl. i dunno i hope e-class will restore my faith in the star.

It's positive that MB has given the ML63 new rims, the ones on the pre-facelifted are dreadful.

The regular ML is great. The exterior changes make the car stand out more.


The ML63...Looks bad. And God know I love Benz, but the body kit is horrible.

Yes, the wheels look great, but the front is bad. Give me those wheels with the regular ML.

The first time an AMG version looks worse than the normal one. It is the exact opposite of the SL facelist where the non AMG ones, look so,so and the AMG ones look hot.

I like the facelifted regular ML a lot. Nice to see LED rear lights finally. The side mirrors look ugly on the other hand. ML 63's front is a big disappointment to me. Looks like they used Microsoft Paint to design the big rectangular air intake under the grille.

Hmmm, interesting pics. I've always found the ML to be the best looking of the luxury SUVs, and these "official" pics still make it look great. I'm not really a fan of the ML or most other SUVs, but its still a solid car. The proposed AMG kit though, I'm not so keen on. I prefer the standard bumper kit, the AMG kit looks a bit overdone.

I know one thing I like these screens much better than old units. The steering wheel is a huge improvement over the previous one too. I think the ML has a chance against the smaller, but younger GLK when they're both on the same showroom floor.

After recent design hits, I don't understand how AMG could drop the ball on this one. The rectangular cut out reminds me of this Holden W427. The way the bonnet lines flow into the lower bumper is the same.

That old ML does look absolutely fantastic though. Maybe a different color would change my mind about the FL. Rear LED's are nice though
