GLE (W167) [Official] Mercedes-Benz GLE (W167)

The Mercedes-Benz W167 is the fourth generation GLE range of mid-size luxury SUVs. Model codes: W167 (SUV), C167 (SUV coupé). Production: October 2018–. Model years: 2020-
That suspension is only one part of the car, I'm speaking to total quality not just the fancy suspension. The 2014 S-Class launch was riddled with all sorts of basic problems, like windshields not fitting properly, and other simple things that are right on a Corolla from day one.

Honestly, I don't recall a lot of problems at launch on the S. But you make a good point. MB needs to focus on that and not an over priced suspension, which less than 3% of buyers will order anyway. They are their own worst enemy at times.
They need to simplify the ordering guide. I'd guess that less than 1% of GLEs are ordered without P1, so they should make it standard and consolidate packages.

Finally some decent video footage that allow us to admire the design of the car without fast moving cameras or constant cut scenes.

But more detailed information about the driving characteristics of the car will be disclosed only on November 21.

One guy from the Russian forum, who has already driven on the new GLE said that they have increased the frequency of the suspension to 20 Hz. And this is a huge breakthrough compared to Magic Body Control on the S-class (5 Hz)

I wonder if the climate control strip has a metallic look as standard or you must go with THERMOTRONIC to have that like on A class
I wonder if that is also flimsy like on an a class...if you press very gentle its ok, but if you press normal/harder it moves on the a class..i wonder if they up their quality for this GLE class

The only problem with it looking this good is what could they possibly do to make the GLE53 look better?

OMG I totally agree, in 2 years my lease is up and for the first time might actually consider a gle over x5

It just looks amazing I can't wait to see these in the showrooms and roads...When they made the GLC I had hope that the GLE would be good this is just amazing..

It looks great in each colour love this new GLE.

Taken straight from MB's facebook page. I am still lukewarm about the exterior and interior design. However like all recent MB designs, the car always look fantastic in person, so I can't wait to see the GLE in the metal.

^^
Pure class. Front overhang is spot on and the lack of confrontational aggression or bloat makes it a standout design.

This is the best looking M Class (GLE) to date which IMO was not a very difficult task judging from the mundane previous designs of M classes including the first generation under the legendary designer Mr. Bruno Sacco. However, this new version is a very fine looking vehicle, just the rear light treatment could have been better.

Terrible video. It's not a V6. That wasn't a GLE 63S at the beginning of the video and so on.
