Yes, it is. The AMG moniker is becoming more and more just a trim line.those fake AMG grills at the front are a joke!

Good eye. Most of the body panel parts are connected by rubber seal inlays. Those nasty lines between hood and side panels on the front of the car as well.Have you seen the EQS in person yet Marcus?
It looks to me like the hood gap actually has a rubber seal inlaid into it but I haven't yet seen one in person.
Apparently aerodynamicsWhat is the purpose of that?

Yep, that’s the way I see it as well. Not sure about the HEPA filter remark thoughSo it's not poor panel alignment, which just would not make sense for an S product out of the new factory, but actually an outcome of the aerodynamic sealing work and possibly related to the installation of the Hepa filter as well.

I have seen EQS a few times now and while it is sleek. The universal EQ front should have been left out for this flagship and used an interpretation of the classic grille. An LED monobrow is not enough. It makes you wonder when all Mercedes’s are EQ’s that the classic grille becomes history? An interesting side-by-side comparison...
...that leaves me concluding that the EQS actually does look like a Mercedes-Benz.

The EQS in this test wasn´t even running with the most optimal aerodynamic configuration though and the tyre choice was rather suboptimal to be honest. Also they weren´t running in ECO-mode, which is required for the maximum of range in the EQS.And the recent range test by the Italian source clearly deflates the "range = jelly bean" argument
