I grant the courage to present himself with that behind him being the person in charge of that design

No shit

Since you have him there, ask him what is going through his head, surely since you must be the only one in the audience, he will answer you

I've seen a couple: on in front of me in a pedestrian crossing and one in the autobahn. Not ugly, but just incredibly boring and cheap looking.
It really looks FWD hatch from the front....the way the hood goes to the windscreen pillars is so similar to the Megane 3 I used to own.
Proportions and greenhouse are terrible, reminds of a MPV (long, slim and tall). You have to be the brand blind no to see the obvious.

...but hardly "beauty pagaent material" to most eyes. The EQE sedan's somewhat smaller footprint appears to benefit the polarizing "One Bow" design. I had my first more comprehensive look at an EQE AMG 53 a bit earlier today and thought that it looked quite sharp, inside and out. A surprise as I've been seriously skeptical about this design paradigm. Must say, I like it rather than love it.

In general, I find myself being left rather unimpressed by what German manufacturers in general have been presenting more recently. Save Porsche.

As i’m saying, for all the haters:
first go and see the car in person. (And the spec&color combo is crucial here).
Then, drive it. Not around the block, but for at least a few hours. The car is the bomb.
Lešnik said, that there will be many other design language in the future. For their EQ’s, the first thing: they still must look beautiful, desirable and the EQS/EQE/EQC definitely are. I’m not so sure for the EQA and EQB..

Just saw the EQS in flesh this week, and sure its not the most beautiful car you can see on the streets but not as bad as the internet pictures make it look,i dont love it but its very catchy for the eye and a nice-looking vehicle, the front i nice looking and gives it that MB look ,you dont really notice the "egg shape" form, maybe the facelift will be better we dont know but this car should have been a lil bit more S-Classy.

Here some pics i took

I'm seeing them more and more now. I actually saw one racing another car. The way the EQS just took off was downright freaky/weird.

The lack of "blackness" to the plastic part of the hyperscreen kind of undermines the effect a bit...

Honestly, that's rarely seen unless the dash is catching direct sunlight. I did notice it when opening the door to enter a few EQS models but the "reveal" always disappeared by the time I was sitting in the driver's seat. I haven't been in a car that successfully masks this to be honest. I even saw this effect on the edges of the nav screen in a Rolls-Royce Phantom.

More hyperpane than hyperscreen. The marketing is stronger than the delivery.
Having seen it few times in different settings, outside showroom glamor shots, it is a greasy, dusty mess. Such a monumental case of all form over function - let us add a big f#cking piece of glass to an already overweight car, just to fool people into thinking, it is a one big screen. Except it doesn't, cause you can see the big greasy bezels from a mile away.

And then there is the coup de grâce to functional design - the winamp graphics!!
