E-Class (W212/C207/A207) [Official] Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe (C207)

The Mercedes-Benz W212 is the fourth generation of the E-Class range. Body styles: sedan/saloon (W212), estate/wagon (S212). Coupé and convertible models of the W212 E-Class generation are W204 C-Class based and known as the C207 and A207, replacing the CLK-Class (C209 and A209) coupé and cabriolet. Production: 2009–2016. Predecessor: W211 E-Class. Successor: W213 E-Class.
I have a feeling that we'll see another "CLK" when the replacement for the CLC arrives.

This car will have some presence on the road! Interior looks solid too and notice the wood on the cover of the storage compartment. (mod please embed)

Love the seats, still not sold on the exterior. I think I like the sedan better now.

^^ Ouch, that's right Phybenz, it's not integrated in the dash by any way... You feel it could fell off when it's too hot...

Too bad, it's a wrong detail in this interior that I overall find very attractive (more than the outside of the car TBH).

And I thought I was the only MB fan not crazy in love with the exterior design. I don't hate it but I don't love it to death. Maybe it will grown on me when I see it IRL.

The wood here over the light switch looks glued on top, not integrated... It looks like one of those cheap wood kits... It doesn't even seem to be centered over the light switch...

Well i'm sure it's much more solid and sturdy than u think;)

Plus don't forget the illumination and proximity of the pic which always gives unflattering results.

PS i loove the rear lights, fly as hell:D

This car looks perfect with AMG sportpackage. Not a great fan of the dark wood yet…Aluminium fits much better to the sporty character of the C207!

Pretty much a flawless execution! I do absolutely hate that stupid little window. Especially with the windows rolled down!!

And can someone please tell me, put the record straight... Is this car a modified E class platform or modified C class platform?

I have heard it was based on the E, but every part of the techincal information points to a C class chassis.

Yep, it's based on the C-class. That's why the interior is like a hybrid of the C and the E. Remember, this car is a "CLK" and that was based on the C as well.

Do you want buttons made from wood?

I didn't mean the buttons, just the facing around the buttons. I can't really remember a time when Mercedes ever used anything but leather and wood for the dashboards of their cars.

Plastic buttons = fine.

Plastic facing = ugly.
:t-cheers:

You guys need to watch the video in HD, that one red will be one hell of a head turner.
