I can't wait for the press days/pics live from the floor. Of course I will be there the weekend of the 18th.

We might run into each other. We're flying in on the 18th and will be on the show floor 19th.

The initial engine line-up in the new C-class, seen here in this exclusive studio shoot, includes a 168bhp 2.1-litre turbodiesel in the C220 Bluetec, a 154bhp 1.6 petrol in the C180 and a 181bhp 2.0-litre petrol in the C200.
Shortly after launch, a further turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol engine will be offered in a C250 model. This has outputs of 208bhp and 258lb ft of torque.
On the diesel front, an ECO version of the C220 Bluetec will be offered, complete with an aerodynamically optimised body and low rolling resistance tyres. This is expected to have a best-in-class rating for CO2 emissions close to 100g/km.
A 201bhp, 369lb ft version of the 2.1-litre turbodiesel will be offered in the C250 Bluetec.
Each of these three additional C-class variants will be offered with Mercedes’ new nine-speed automatic gearbox, codenamed NAG3 and known as 9G-Tronic.
Later in 2014, Mercedes will offer a C300 Bluetec Hybrid variant. This is offered with the C250 Bluetec-spec version of the 2.1-litre turbodiesel engine, and gains an electric motor with 28bhp, 184lb ft electric motor. This C-class is also set to get the nine-speed auto’.
Let’s kick off inside the C-class, which is so much better resolved than the outgoing car’s interior, it’s like being upgraded from cattle-cart Ryan Air to business class British Airways. Round vents and slimline ventilation control buttons are clearly inspired by thenew S-class’s cabin, but there are new touches here that even the big best Benz missed out on. That arcing slab of central trim is one of them, single-handedly making the current F30-gen 3-series’ dour dash look old-hat.
Merc1, you're the man.Of course. I do every year!

Whut? I thought they got in partnership with Apple about a year ago
The Drive Kit app for iPhone is messy and clunky. The UI sandboxes you in a separate area and you're unable to do much with COMAND Navigation. If you need to use COMAND navigation, you need to exit the app entirely! Here's hoping that Android integration brings with it some fluidity. If they could figure out a way to incorporate Google Maps / Waze, Google Now (knowledge graph), Street View (this is a paid option in the US with mBrace), Google search etc...Mercedes-Benz could have quite the infotainment system on their hands.
It just suprising that they decided to switch again to android.
