^ That was a really good and fair review. With some small tweaks and the 9G gearbox the C450 should be perfect.

almost ready to go!:)

Now that I have seen a lot of these little run-abouts; I can finally comment on its looks IMHO of course. The front is good; not great; a little too generic. What I have observed lately is that designers have given up on strong/ aggressive design cues and now differentiate between designs by headlight and taillight graphics.

More importantly in the case of the C; because of the smallish tail lamps; the rear of the car looks almost supercar wide and the glass house seems abnormally small in comparison akin to a person with down syndrome (abnormally underdeveloped face). On the other hand the interior quality is top notch.

Overall though I have not been blown away by the exterior just like with the S. Its good; but its not making me pull out my check book

Congratulations to Mercedes-Benz. Sales of the W205 C-Class in Germany appear to be brisk indeed.

But the cars' ubiquity makes me realize how ambivalent my perception of its' appearance is. In more pedestrian trim, it appears quite ordinary. Something approaching "homely", in fact. But in a more elevated specification, with 19" rims, it can be absolutely gorgeous. Currently, M-Bs' most eye-appealing sedan actually. I am finding it more and more difficult to warm to the W222s' appearance.

Oh yes-the W205s' dash and interior is splendid.

The C63 is going to be just like the M3, around 75-80K when loaded. So many things to decide if you're ordering one wow.

These prices makes my eye water with jealousy. I can just get a C250 with one optional package for that price...

In Sweden, for 75k you can get a fully loaded M235i. To get a M3, you need to pay twice as much as the M235i.

I saw the W205 C-class parked next to a F30 BMW 3-series at a shopping center and both were dressed up in their best suits (AMG and M-sport).

Looking at them together was a very nice sight and I certainly like the design of both cars and feel they are both the best looking cars in this class. The C-class appears to be larger than the 3-series especially viewing from the back, which has longer overhang and it has a more elongated boot, while the 3 series has a more upright squared off rear end. The C-class looks nicer from the front with its jewelry headlights and upright sporty grill with AMG lower bumper splitter, although the M-sport 3-series model is certainly a good looker as well from the front the corona rings and lower slimmer lights look great with nice larger intakes compared to a normal 3 series.
