Strange how the C300 is available in America before the rest of the world gets it?Mercedes announces new C-Class models and equipment
Already available to order
Following the addition of a 1.6-liter turbo engine for the current C-Class, Mercedes-Benz has announced several new models units are joining the vehicle’s lineup.
The premium car will be available in the C200 4MATIC and C220 d 4MATIC versions, which have a four-wheel drive system. The petrol variant comes with a 2.0-liter engine with 184 HP (135 kW) and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft), while the diesel offers a 2.1-liter unit with 170 HP (125 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft).
The C300 becomes the most powerful 4-cylinder modification with its 2.0-liter 245 HP (180 kW) powerplant. It can accelerate from a standing start to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 5.9 seconds (6.1 seconds for the Estate) and consumes 6.3 liters per 100 km (6.4 l/100 km for the Estate).
Mercedes has also announced the C-Class can now be equipped with a head-up display, a touchpad and a wide range of intelligent driver assistance systems, as well as a heated steering wheel and a revised choice of trims.

StanNH traded his troublesome iridium silver C300 for a palladium silver C300 Sport. Let's hope he has better luck with his second new W205.
