So many in white! This is making me think twice about color now...

Wow, looking at owners list above, there's going to be a mass influx of A's hitting the streets soon!
Probably a good thing, because I've got to admit, I am getting bit weary of people asking me about it. I felt sorry the other day when I pulled into a work carpark, there were 4 people standing around a new 3 series bimmer with what turned out to be the proud owner. When I pulled up they all looked at the mb. When I got out I heard the owner saying how hard it was to keep it at 60k/h. Unfortunately the others weren't listening because they all had moved over to the A250, and one of the guys in the group said -a little too loudly- "bugger the bmw, I'll have one of those". I felt a bit bad stealing the ladies thunder, but what was I supposed to do? ツ

BTW, who's from Bris or Sth East Qld?

Just got word from my Dealer revised dates for my car. ETA is now August 5th, which is almost two weeks earlier than the previous ETA. Not getting too excited as it's only an ETA but it's definitely going in the right direction!
Lucky you Frostee, you'll love it. Hope to see some pics when you get it. Especially if you can get a before and after car wash and wax treatment. So we can see how much of a difference it makes.

I plan on taking mine for a drive to Brissy sometime once it's run in. But I want a couple of extra tyre repair options in case of a puncture with no spare and no run flats.

Hi Clip. Sorry to hear you are weary of talking about your car! Because I'd like to hear more, especially your impressions on how it drives, its features, comfort, etc. Reviews from actual owners are few and far between and all we seem to hear is magazine writer comments about "brittle" rides...

Note sure if this has been posted yet, I haven't thoroughly read all 87 pages of this thread...

If you can get your VIN from the dealer, it may help while away the time waiting for delivery.

Cargo Tracking - Enter the VIN in the right side 'Cargo ID' box

Mine left Zeebrugge on the 24th of April.

That is sooooo cool! I'm tracking mine now, off the coast of Africa on board the Grand Pioneer!

On a completely different note. How are owners finding the speed accuracy of the A250? In my current VW i'm approximately 8% slower than the speedo suggests.

kaktus the a250 speedo is a lot closer. and yeah road speed checks on the gti always showed I was lot slower than what the speedo said.

yep am just a high pressure washer and soap and sponge but thats about limit of it :)

I'll have to try the two bucket method and the nano business sounds interesting !
Got to admit I'm not a 2 bucket person either, but do like the nano stuff, just makes washing so much easier and faster = more time on the road enjoying.;)

Yes I definitely agree, it would be awesome with a capital A if owners could give us some thoughts reviews howtos on their cars, that way we'll have something to keep us going, till we get out cars. I've still got till end of September.

still cant beleive that in feb last year merc was saying the a class was connected....well more than a year later still not connected ! ;)
Well I'll miss out on this, but I would be happy with what we were originally told would be available and would love it if like the Barina there is no need to plug it in!

Sold my current car. Sooner than I had planne but everything lined up and it was an easy sale. Hand it over early next week and then it's about a 6 week wait till my new one arrives (fingers crossed no slippage).

The wait is going to be even more tedious. Mind you I will get more walking dine using public transport, which isn't such a bad thing!
