AMG ONE [Official] Mercedes-AMG Project ONE

The Mercedes-AMG One (R50, previously known as Project One) is a limited-production plug-in dual hybrid sports car manufactured by Mercedes-AMG, featuring Formula One-derived technology. Production: August 2022 – 2025 (275 units planned).
This and the Valkery (sp) are the hot cars in Monaco this summer.
Definitely going to hang out there.

Bottas' spec is mindblowing. Will go well with Coulthard's Valkyrie which is the same-ish color.

I lost track somehow... what percentage has been delivered to customers? Have there been done instrumented (track) tests already by some magazine?
I am not sure anybody knows a specific number, but I believe it's quite a lot, actually.

No instrumented tests so far - and probably not until a customer provides their car for it.

AMG the best or absolutely nothing!🙂

Valtteri's car has made it to Monaco.

That blue looks even better under natural light

Finally seeing it in other colours. I absolutely LOVE it. There's a 'sensual purity' (:ROFLMAO:) that most other supercars lack IMO. This aesthetic just appeals to me.

Some bits from the Gercollector video:
  • the gear shifts on the production car are noticeably faster than on the pre-production version he drove before
  • the performance figures given by Mercedes (specifically 0-200 km/h in 7 sec) are supposedly for worst-case-conditions ("in the middle of the desert") and the car is typically a lot faster
  • the exhaust system including the emissions stuff weighs over 100 kg

Gercollector seems to have enjoyed his drive so much. i too believe the car is quicker than the stated 7s 0-200 figures, i hope mercedes is sandbagging.

The thing is, that the performance numbers are "worst case scenario" is something he was told by Mercedes themselves, so it's really worth nothing.

That said, I have said from the beginning that there is no way for the car to only do 2.9s to 100km/h with AWD. Should be about 2.5s, unless it's artificially limited for some reason.

4.1s for 100-200km/h does seem realistic looking at the power to weight ratio, and also we've already seen the car do that during the N-ring lap where the time was 4.2-4.5s. So 4.1s definitely seems achievable under optimal battery charge, etc. Probably not much better than that, though.

The 0-100km/h is where the acceleration improvement should be, but as that is purely traction limited and not engine power limited, I am not sure what being "in the middle of the desert" has to do with anything.
