And as much as I hate to say, there’s something missing in Project One’s design, imo. Doesn’t wow me like a LaFerrari or a Chiron.

For me, 2 major gripes -
The front bumper is just not fully resolved (especially the driving lights snuck into a crevice).

Exactly, that black louvre on the hood is annoying me a lot too. It looks awful. If they painted it the same colour as the rest of the car I guess it would look ok.

I think there would be minor changes on the final product as its prototype, especially the star on hood will definitely be replaced from sticker to metal ornament, after all how much weight saving it makes.

Regarding the body color I think most of the customers would be individualise like most of the hyper cars as they are paying a huge amount of money.

They have to paint it in McLaren house colours to make it look fab, and in this colour it really does come alive, I hope someone orders it in orange.

Almost all the LaFerrari's came in red, not a lot of customisation went on with them.

In-house testing early on. Same reason why we're not seeing the W223 too much this point in time like pevious generations.
