Ahh man, they should do a manual version of this, with the GT3 engine (M159) and I swear people would cream themselves over it.

I saw today two AMG GT Black Series! It looks awesome in person, really menacing. They later drove away and I must say, the exhaust sound is not good.

Doesnt sound loud or amazing. However if you like tracking it’s a positive because the car won’t breach noise limits.

AMG GT Black Series with an exhaust, not bad actually.

Some really serious cars these are. GT3 RS can handle the twisties better but the Black Series got the Muscle💯

While I'm fully aware of the issues around comparing a computer game to real life, for fun I thought I'd do this same comparison in Gran Turismo 7.

... The result was fairly similar (I was 1.266 seconds slower in the Merc than Sport Auto, and 2.094 in the Porshce), with a very similar gap between the two (3.27 seconds vs 2.45)

What's interesting, is if you look at the top trace you see the speed of the two cars (Porsche Blue and Merc Yellow), and the way the gap builds ... It really is just about that additional power on the fast sections, above 100mph the Merc just walks away.

Like I say, I know it's not real, but I suspect it demonstrates the difference quite well the top speed differential is clear to see in the Sport Auto video.
