They should have just let the Artura scream a little more at the top end and not held it back.

The Artura needs reliability and solid owners reviews rather than more power. McLaren as a brand need repairing and electrification adds more complication and reliability anxiety.

This is where the 580S comes in as a perfect companion in the line-up. ICE only, existing drivetrain improved, entire car enhanced in all areas.

McLaren can say "Hey, we have launched a cutting edge hybrid but if you are not ready for one we have an ICE supercar based on a proven platform."

I did absolutely state to wait earlier in this in this thread for differing paint schemes for the McLaren 750S and further I reserve as anyone else can to change my mind on paint finishes or paintworks and the resulting affects on the car!

The painters at Mclaren Special Operations or MSO are amongst the very best if not THE best on this planet. I've spent enough time around certain owners and I know the kind of money it costs for these special one off paintworks and I've recently shared more than enough.

Having said that the DESIGN aesthetically could of been more radical but the McLaren 720S was SO far ahead of the game and rivals that's perhaps unfair, and maybe I'm being too hard on them. Anyway enough LOOK at this specifications session on Mclaren 750S Spider~ OMG

It doesn't have have specific name for the colour I could see, however it's a very good place to start from.

I don't know, to me, it is like F1 sucked all the specialness a car company can possibly ever have. And everything that came after have been running lean on that front.

Mclaren has become a brand far from its former glory. Recent innovations are not exciting at all (including speedtail). Added to that was their awful situation in F1.

As for this new 750s, it looks just as f'ing horrible as the 720s did. Truly dislike this car's looks with a passion, which is a shame because the car is so good for the rest. Still has those crazy frog eyes.
And being .2 or .3 seconds faster than car xxx is beyond meaningless. No person will ever be able to tell the difference no matter if they claim otherwise. These cars all are crazy fast to the point of being completely unusable in terms of power on a public road.

Just give me a 296 instead. So much better.

You also think that most of BMW's designs are beautiful so I don't think we can trust your judgement on car design.

Also, Ferrari design language has fallen so far from it's former glory. Most of them, are a miss mash of different design philosophy's, which make them look awkward and weird. But because it's a Ferrari, everyone jumps for joy like it's the best thing since sliced bread.

If you want a real driver's car, buy a Mclaren. If you want to pose with your car, buy a red Ferrari and call it a day.

This is Mclaren FLUX GREEN on a 765LT Spider. If you paint the 750S this colour PLUS have the separation as above with the exposed carbon fibre it makes a monumental difference.

See the difference? The mono colour does NOT work in my individual opinions and others say so too. I mean look at it? Looks like someone had some extra paint left over and when everyone went for lunch they slapped on everything they could find, LOL!
