720S [Official] McLaren 720S

The McLaren 720S is a sports car designed and manufactured by McLaren Automotive. It is the second all-new car in the McLaren Super Series, replacing the 650S beginning in May 2017. The 720S is built on a modified carbon monocoque, which is lighter and stiffer than the previous model, the 650S.
It's coming next week!

I don't think the world is ready for the 750LT. Its performance will likely be earth shatteringly good.

How was it in the past with the top LT models? Did McLaren also offer a specific/extreme tire specification for them (like Porsche does) or will the LT come with the same/standard TrofeoR like the 720s has as an option?

750 LT or 765 LT? I guess we'll know soon enough.
From what I've seen in tests, there's only 20-25ps between the 720S and Senna, so I think the numbers are just there for branding and marketing purposes. The big deal will be the weight, aero and handling aspects.

Honestly, who on earth would buy the Senna over LT? LT is gonna be gorgeous!

There’s a reason they weren’t released together. Senna was a disaster.

can you still buy a new Senna? Weren’t they (thankfully) a limited edition.

500 units. All sold out. I'll post a video of 3, including a bare carbon one, that I saw at Daytona in Jo'burg last week when I took the GT for a spin.

There’s a reason they weren’t released together. Senna was a disaster.

A disaster???
Why?
If they are sold out?
If they crush every existing laptime of any other street legal car on earth?
Just because its looks doesn't appeal to you?
C'mon ...

I know 4 owners personally who bought them and sold them because they were sold a bill of goods on the car by Mclaren the car couldn’t live up to. The practical performance is same as a 720S. One of them tracks considerably and he runs far better times with his actual race car which costs far less to run and 1/5 as much to replace. It’s a car with no purpose. Not as fast as a race car but too compromised to enjoy on the road. Add in the looks and it’s bad all the way around.

Can you "elaborate" on this:
The practical performance is same as a 720S

What does "practical performance" mean? I hope, you don't talk about 1/4 mile performance? Otherwise I am out of discussion.
On track the 720s has no chances at all against a Senna. Track data, which proves this, is available.
And that performance and related price point aren't linear is a triviality ... in Business Administration you call it "diminishing marginal utility" (don't know if I got the translation right from german (n)) ...
And regarding people you know, which rather prefer to have a pure (non street legal!) race car
is something like an apple to oranges comparison! And by the way: A Senna afaik even with semi slicks is faster than a GT4 with slicks on several tracks!
And if a Senna owner is that serious with track racing, he could switch over to slicks at the track? Don't you think? Then you need at least a GT3 race car to tackle a Senna! And then you can't tell me something like this endeavour would be cheaper than a Senna?

I am a Senna-hater, just because of its terrible looks. But even I must admit that it is a fantastic track car and the current performance king.
