This looks even better than the 570s. Very Cayman-esque with the mid-engine completely hidden. Cargo capacity should be the best of all the supercars.

McLaren has a habit of releasing arguably better versions of newly released models too quickly, which is partially why depreciation is so atrocious.

I really like what they have done with the interior and the glass roof. They should have shown this off at the same time they unveiled the 570.

Hard to tell which one is best between S & GT. Very different visual caractere.

Every car they come up with is a winner. McLaren, the British Ferrari.

Prettier than the 570S? I can't decide. I love the slippy silhouette of the GT but I'm also a buttress fan. I just don't know which one to put my imaginary deposit down on! :nailbiting:

McLaren are on a roll, every time they bring out a new model it seems always prettier and more complete than previous models. This 570GT looks fantastic, its sleeker and more elegant than the 570S, but I do also like the more aggressive sportier rear end of the 570S. The interior is really nice, I like the red leather and aluminium trim combo. Is it the prettiest car in this class? Probably one of the best lookers in this class, its a tough choice.

One of my favourite set off buttresses are found on the 599.

I like the GT, but I'm not entirely sure about the functionality of the rear storage compartment. Looks a bit dangerous without a proper divider.

This is a truly gorgeous car. Mclaren definitely got it together. If they stop confusing customers with new models every other 6 months, they could rise to rival Ferrari. The road will be long but the brand is firmly on a good path now.

Wow McLaren really nailed it with this one, I can't see why anyone would buy an S apart from price, this looks better, from what they say drives pretty much the same and have the best interior McLaren have launched so far.

Very nice car!

I test drove a 570GT about two months ago, but never got round to writing a review. Honestly, because it wasn’t that interesting to drive.

Quick summary:
+ Ballistically fast.
+ Fantastic cabin design and comfort.
+ Love the airiness of the cabin.
+ The GT’s profile and rear is quite handsome.
+ The rear opening glass is one of the coolest features in an automobile.

- With it’s emphasis on GT comfort, the negative tradeoff is that the driving experience is detached and un-engaging. I understand why Motor Trend ranked it so low on this year’s Best Driver’s Car.
- Headlights are a bit too smiley. Makes it hard to genuinely like the front.
- I discovered first hand the little quality issues McLarens have. McLaren has been using a lot of the same switches since the 12c, so why continued woes?
- I still don’t like the portrait format infotainment system or the IRIS system.
- Exhaust sound is meh.

The perfect entry level McLaren would be a 570 with the GT’s rear styling and the 570S’ driving dynamics.
