I finally saw one in traffic yesterday and somehow managed to park next to it a few hours later.
It doesn't look that ugly in real life - I have to admit that. It was a dark grey metallic colour, which hid most of the details, like the excessive curves and the sneeze-inspired headlights. Upon closer inspection it seems that there are many matte black plastic parts around the wheels and the lower door sills, which do it no favour. Small wheels don't help either.
Bottom line, it's not that bad looking. It's just not my cup of tea.

wow, didn't realise it is over 5.5 years since I wrote the review. Glad I went with the C class estate.Considering getting it in 1:1
