LFA [Official] Lexus LF-A Supercar (Production Version)

Oh man, I think even after everything will be "known" about the 918 Spyder, F150 and P1, LFA will still stay my Nr. 1.

Yes, it is.

But those are only for the display? The car doesn't have them standard or even optional, no? But I have to say I like the neons. On other reason for blue being my favorite color. The LFA is just soooooooooooooo typically JDM. I like that about it.

Huh?? Ofcourse, I thought it was obvious that the blue lights are coming from the dsplay below the LFA.

It never crossed my mind that there could be a plausible option of Lexus LFA having such an option since it sounds absurd for an exotic supercar.

:ROFLMAO:

One lucky young owner. He looks like a college student.

He has a Lexus LFA Nurburgring Edition and a Porsche 911 Turbo S in his garage.

LFA = Katana effortlessly slicing up all other sports- super- and hypercars.

How can some say the LFA has no soul is beyond me. The German cars have really no soul. The German nation is a nation of robots, so how can they understand anything of that?

Can't wait for the LFA successor. Impossible there won't be any. What are they going to do with the plant they built? For the Supra? Or for the SC?

Nothing known about the factory yet.

Although, as I posted a few pages ago, Lexus LFA will be racing in the Nurburgring 24-hours endurance race this year in the GT class instead of the near-stock SP8 class.

Well, I've stayed away from this thread because I know I'd spend an inordinate amount of time going through all the posts, watching all the video, etc. But after watching this video, I got a bit sad...not misty-eyed because I'm pretty in touch with reality, but I did get a wee bit sad. You can tell the the workers, engineers, designers, etc. took this project personally. I think they felt like it was a mission.

And the other reason I got sad is that it'll be a long time before we see car like this again, if ever. Again, almost everything was bespoke. The level of meticulous detail put in every facet of this car....development, design, engineering, production, delivery, customer service....it will be difficult to replicate. Just the car itself is such a unique proposition....that screaming V10 (72 degrees, mind you), an SMG transmission to get some sort of gearchange feedback, the steering.

Highlights of this video....
from about 4:55 onwards when it is driven....especially in the tunnels.
the workers, or takumis, talking about how much pride they had building this.

And I think that the other reason I am sad is that I know if I am ever lucky enough to be in that position, there will not be a car like this. Granted the new LaFerrari, P1, GT3, 918, Huarya, and Zonda are cars I would love to drive. But the LFA just seems like the car I would be most proud of...it's a car a I would love to own and drive. The GT3 actually comes close...but it lacks that combination that I previously mentioned. Porsche engineers are obsessive, but the LFA seems like it was built by someone with OCD. OK, now I am rambling...
