Now those are some pictures. LF-A please. They both look spectacular in white.
From C&D comparo of LFA vs 599 GTB HGTE.
Press lap in British-spec #016 Lexus LFA (blue) at the Nurburgring track following prep'ed IS-F pace car:
Now those are some pictures. LF-A please. They both look spectacular in white.
Oh yes, no doubt my pic would be the LFA. Though ther is a bunch of legendary and epic cars, for me the LFA is on top. LFA design is so perfectly beautifully typically Japanese. I think Lexus must to the same thing for the LFA as Pagani did to the Zonda, just continue improving it and updating it, while adding price and lowering units. Desing can stay the same, for me, just like the Zonda (NSX and S2000 also), is look timeless.
For the "avarge"? Just make a new SC-F with an LFA-like NA H/R V8.
When somebody says the LFA has no soul I'd like to smack him in the face. It is on the contrary one of the recent car produced, that has most soul than any other, enven more than Ferrari and Porsche. And this is how I personally would classify them in order:
1. Lexus LFA
2. Pagani (simply art)
3. Aston Martin (the name and the design says it)
(Alfa Romeo (can't justify that because they have nothing worthy, but the 8C, not the best case even proves what it can be)
4. Maserati (the design and the sound says it)
5. Porsche (though spoilt, the race heritage is still very strong)
6. Ferrari (just no more as before, though heritage it is now too bling-bling)
7. McLaren (clinical, could be considered as a soul character)
8. Lamborghini (there is nothing more bling-bling than a "Lambo")
The simple fact that the Lexus LFA, a brand without name or heritage, got so many lovers proves there is a soul. Moreso, even if on paper and even in reality it is not the fastest car in any type of measure (race-track, drag-strip), there is even less reason to love it so much, yet for many it is "the" ultimate sportscar/dream car. When even a hater (Jeremy Clarkson) end picking up that car over any other much "better" one, then that really means a lot: the car is alive, it has soul, and as we know, one soul (LFA) attracts an other soul (human being). So if one says the LFA has no soul, it means he himslef has no soul.
By rationality, the LFA is not a car one would pick. But if one picks it, that is because of the emotion that comes from the soul, and only some other soul can bring up emotion. So again the LFA is a car with the most soul. If sombody says that those who like the LFA are mad/stupid, I'd again smack him in the face.

Late last week, Lexus race car driver Akira Iida — the same driver that set the Nürburgring lap record for a production car in an LFA last year — tweeted the above photo of a mystery LFA prototype, describing it as his “next challenge”.
From the image, it looks to be the infamous LFA GTE prototype, which was first spotted last year in spy photos taken at the Toyota Motorsport headquarters in Germany:
More race-car? Or just an even more street version hard-core version? Or even only track car like Ferrari FXX? LFA is hunting for Zonda R.

Yesterday, the guys from Top Gear descended on Las Vegas in a haze of burnt rubber, cigarettes, and lengthy, complicated metaphors.
But where, oh where, could they be going and what exactly are they driving? We have some of the answers.
Jeremy posted a picture on Twitter earlier that revealed the guys are driving some seriously cool cars.
It appears that James is in an Aston Martin Vanquish, Jeremy is in the Lexus LFA, and Richard, muscle car lover that he is, will be in a brand new Dodge Viper.
Rumor has it that this will be a 3,000 mile journey and Jeremy has made mention of both Southern California and Mexico in the last few weeks.
