Jesko [Official] Koenigsegg Jesko

The Koenigsegg Jesko is a limited production mid-engine sports car produced by the Swedish automobile manufacturer Koenigsegg. The car was introduced at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show and was completely sold out before the show ended. Succeeding the Agera, the Jesko is named as a tribute to the company founder's father, Jesko von Koenigsegg. There are two variations of the car, the "Absolut" and the "Attack".

I've watched these superficially but there's English conversations and I believe subtitles elsewhere. But there's a hell of alot material there to watch and I've a feeling it's top notch stuff.🙂

So speeds and distances and times? Smh.

They've never stated you had to pay extra for 1600hp?

I can go back to the 2019 videos? Maybe I missed something.🧐
I thought so too. I've watched a lot of these Jesko videos and never got the impression that the flexfuel sensor isn't standard equipment.

But, in this video from March 2023 a Koenigsegg employee says that 1600 PS E85 will be a paid option for Jesko.
Koenigegg Dude: Today we're running normal gas, E10, 1280 PS. On the E85 it's 1600 PS.
JWW: so the production spec will be 1600?
KD: I think that's an option. If you want that extra, you can pay for it and then you get the E85 option as well.

Well I don't know what to say. Update the Website maybe? There isn't even a * anywhere. And that package last I saw was in excess of £250K it's probably more. The take up rate has been noted above or linked.

So then and my last question do you have to pay this extra amount for Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut?

I would assume it's the same deal on both variants.

Just watched couple more Jesko videos with CvK. He never makes it clear that this is a paid option.
In one video, he said something along the lines of: "It's 1280 PS on pump gas, but fill up with E85 and you get 1600 PS."
Maybe the flex fuel really was meant to be a standard equipment, but then at one point they decided to charge extra for it. They gotta pay for that new factory somehow :D

This kind of obfuscation does spoil one's impression of the brand somewhat. Not that I feel entitled to know every single thing about the car. At least I hope they were more upfront about it with their (prospective) customers.
