So he just lost it on cold tires, or he was driving with all the electronics switched off?

Cold tyres + mannetino set to race mode? You can hear the revs rise abruptly as if the rears spun up. These super fast cars - they're just not for everyone with money.

Lift-off oversteer caused by panic reaction. That's my bet.

News has been filtering through social media networks this afternoon of a LaFerrari crash which appears to have happened in London. The car appears to have suffered mild damage to the front left side and rear left side. The rear left wheel appears to have buckled, although the damage looks repairable.

It looks as though this particular car was registered in Guernsey, a tiny island which sits in the English channel. It had been photographed around London over the weekend before the accident took place.

The accident apparently took place on the A40. The owner lost traction, spinning the hypercar into the central reservation and into oncoming traffic. The video suggests that the car was recovered back to central London. Hopefully it will be a quick repair.

This isn’t the first time an owner has lost control of their LaFerrari. Most recently a LaFerrari took out a row of parked cars in Budapest. Other LaFerrari’s have crashed in China, Monaco and Italy. Hopefully we won’t see too many repeat occurances.

By way of brief reminder, the LaFerrari was first unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show 2013. Just 499 copies will be produced and were sold out long before the show even started.

The LaFerrari features a 6.3 litre V12 and a KERS system which allows 963 PS of power. Top speed is 350 km/h (217 mph), 0 to 100 km/h happens in less that 3 seconds with 300 km/h (186 mph) in 15 seconds.
