Forgotten Ferrari
I know nothing about Ferrari residuals but it appears that F8's value is holding up well, which is surprising. I thought they'd not be that sought after given their stop-gap status.
For me, all I'd ever need in a supercar is a 296 GTS.
It's holding its value well in the UK. You can buy a used F8 for the same price as a used 296. It's look forward to seeing how the F80 will faire. It's a hybrid, too many are being built and it cost a stupid amounts of money.I know nothing about Ferrari residuals but it appears that F8's value is holding up well, which is surprising.
Couldn’t agree more with this rating. And when it comes to value the 458 is amazing.Having driven them all, and owned a few, this is the order and why.
6. 488. Sound is mediocre. Looks aren’t great. Decent performance but not McLaren 650S performance which was out at the same time.
5. F8. Much better looking. Perfect steering wheel. A fair amount quicker. Horrible, sound. Dealer killer sound. Just not a very exciting car to use.
4. Base 458. Great sound. Great looks. Dated tech. Less reactive than the others. Feels a bit slow. I’ve had 2 of em.
3. 296. Sounds good, not great. Just needs to be louder and it would be great. Immense performance relative to the others. LAF quick. Brakes are great. Dynamics in general are world class. Steering wheel with haptics is silly. Personally I think it’s looks put it at 3. It’s 5th best looking. Dynamically it’s easily number 1.
2. 488 Pista. Dynamically on par with an F8 but sounds better (not great, however) and looks stunning. Best looking Ferrari of that 20 years to me.
1. 458 Speciale. Just feels the most special. You know you’re in something historic. I should have kept mine.
But these ranking aren’t equally spaced. What I mean is, let’s say a 458 S is a 100/100. Then a 488 is an 80/100. F8 would be 90/100. Base 458 92/100. 296 96/100. Pista 98/100. That sort of close towards the top.

Correct. IIRC someone counted all VINs and they got to 630+Ferrari built far more LaFerrari than officially recognised, there are 572 known LaFerrari vin numbers, not including Apertas, so maybe 799 is a realistic number.

10x the price of an SF90Goddamn mass produced
F80 will go well over 1000 lmao. But I can't blame them for wanting to make money off of fools. And it'd be wild to see the F80 depriciate, which could well be the case with this thing.
All of the above without a proportionate uplift in performance.
10x the price of an SF90
4x the price of an SF90 FXX

I think some Ferrari fans will sober up and realise that they are being milked. In 12 months, there will likely be so many F80 for sale close to list price that you could just buy one from the open market and without having lost €300k-1m on ordering new Ferraris and dumping them after 18 months to roll money into the next.
