F12berlinetta [Official] Ferrari F12 Berlinetta

The Ferrari F12berlinetta (Type F152) is a front mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive grand tourer produced by Ferrari. Production: 2012-2017. Predecessor: Ferrari 599. Successor: Ferrari 812 Superfast.
I don't think it will be a forced induction engine. Instead, it's going to have this engine turned up to around 800 bhp but in a package weighing a scant 1100 kg - that's according to sources like EVO and Autocar.

I forgot about the weight ADVANTAGE of the F70 over the Veyron...
Martin, if those rumors come to be true we are about to see something groundbreaking :)
Any info on when it's due to be unveiled ?

not 1,100, but probably similar the enzo (claimed 1,255)
I'm pretty sure the real/final Kerb weight will under 1,500 Kgs, strong half ton less than Veyron SS and almost 600 Kgs less than Veyron!!

Coupled with an electric motor to push the out put to 920hp..as rumor suggests.

2013 Ferrari F12berlinetta - FIRST DRIVE with Alonso and Massa

I am just overwhelmed by this new Ferrari. The Prancing Horse just has that ability to overwhelm:bowdown:

Not that I could afford the car, but I was hoping that the GTO style wheels would be offered.

BTW, we need more live pics!!!!!!!!!!

I'm totally gobsmacked by the aerodynamic properties of this car. At first glance the car might be mistaken for your average GT that cost more than a family home but at closer inspection the F12 is one special car to behold.

The "speed holes" over the flanks and the doors are obviously for reducing lift at the front. The back though is where the magic is. Traditionally super cars feature a huge spoiler at the rear to keep the car planted, and the CGT and Veyron are clear examples of this. Ferrari have instead applied their F1 knowledge to the latest car and have generated downforce at the rear without resorting to a spoiler. Instead they have done what F1 teams did in 2009/2010 which was to feed as much air as possible to the diffuser. The F12 effectivly has a double decker diffuser. Air pass under tha car is diffused, but to is air that slots through the holes at the rear deck and are feed down the rear and exist through slits that are horizontal with the exhausts. For a road car the brilliance is akin magnificent air and exhaust channelling work at the rear of the updated Red Bull RB8 that was shown off yesterday.

Supercars have a huge allure. Their beauty. Those massive engines. The sense that you will never want for anything else, ever again. That you are stuck in a pantomime and life is just one big bag of sweeties and laughter. Jeremy Clarkson

The Supercar manufacturers are REALLY, and I mean really pushing me into confession of being the biggest sinner of “THOU SHALL NOT WANT.” Wanting something gives you the perception that something is missing in your life. The human desire is very strong and the modern Supercar makers highlights that perception in my life. Naas Human:D

As if the Veyron's, Zonda's, FF's, Mclaren's, SLS's aren't enough, along came the Berlinetta...and as Levi68 said, there's plenty more to come! :hyper:
