812 Superfast [Official] Ferrari 812 Superfast

The Ferrari 812 Superfast (Type F152M) is a front mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive grand tourer produced by Ferrari. Production: 2017-2024. Predecessor: Ferrari F12berlinetta. Successor: Ferrari 12Cilindri.
Not that it matters too much because this car is above my pricepoint, but I never really warmed up to the styling of the 812 at all. I haven't felt this way about a Ferrari since the 599 and 612.

This is pure class right here. Pair Blu Pozzi with cognac leather and Daytona seats... che bella!

The styling....the side profile looks wonderful and I am more accepting of the front. The rear, on the other hand, is still a bit of a struggle for two reasons: 1) the Transformer-esqe rear does not jive with curvaceous theme of the rest of the body, and 2) those rear lights. I much prefer if there weren't quad lights and if they were more like the F12 as they seem to reference iconic Ferraris of 1960's whereas the quad lights seem more like a throwback to the go-go 1980's. Plus if I wanted those rear lights to look like Novitec rear lights, I'd go to Novitec to get it done; I'd rather not Ferrari do them.

But as I said, I've mostly come to terms with 812 moreso because of the prospect of this being the last unassisted (NA with no turbo, blower, and/or electrical assistance) V12 we'll ever see.

For the size and the weight this car is extremely agile: 154 kph through the evasive test without ESP! Wow!

F12 / 812 comparison with AMuS-data:

Tyres: Michelin PS Cup 2 / Pirelli P Zero Corsa
Weight: 1715 kg / 1741 kg
0-100 km/h: 3,2 s / 3,2 s
0-160 km/h: 6,2 s / 6,0 s
0-200 km/h: 9,1 s / 8,7 s
400 m: 10,8 s (216 km/h) / 10,7 s (221 km/h)
100-0 kph (cold): 31,3 m / 32,4 m
190-0 kph: 111 m / 115 m
18 m slalom (ESP ON): 68,9 km/h / 69,9 km/h
110 m evasive test (ESP ON): 146,7 km/h / 147,8 km/h
Noise level at 130 km/h: 75 dB(A) / 76 dB(A)

H.V.Saurma did with F12 7:33. I think around 7:20 is realistic.

7:25 at best, Corsa is not on the level of the F12's Cup 2 tyres.

Gosh.... the GTO is a looker. Missed opportunity years back when economy was down and collector car prices weren't so super inflated; although market adjustment is finally occuring to advert a bubble burst. No more million dollar GTOs, Carrera GTs & 911Rs for now.

What is interesting to me is that the 599 and the 612 didn't receive any significant mid life face lift at all before they were replaced by the F12 and the FF.
