812 Superfast [Official] Ferrari 812 Superfast

The Ferrari 812 Superfast (Type F152M) is a front mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive grand tourer produced by Ferrari. Production: 2017-2024. Predecessor: Ferrari F12berlinetta. Successor: Ferrari 12Cilindri.
What is interesting to me is that the 599 and the 612 didn't receive any significant mid life face lift at all before they were replaced by the F12 and the FF.

Ferrari (Pininfarina) had a quick shift in exterior and interior design language in the late 2000’s to a more agressive motif and supposedly it could not be translated onto either models. Key designers like Frank Stephenson (F430 coupé/spider) and Jason Castriota (599 & Maser Gran Turismo) were gone by 2009. Ferrari’s design language has changed relatively little since then.

There were compliants that the 599 was too large, especially compared to the compact 550/575. The regular 599 also needed the HGTE handling pack to address body roll.

The 612 was sales a flop - boring looks, lackluster driving experience for such a car. It wasn’t until the OTO version that it became a compelling product. I haven’t seen a 612 anywhere in at least 5 years.

I don't think Ferrari do facelifts in the traditional sense. Each model except mid-engine V12s, only have a 4-5 year lifespan. However, the F430 and F360 shared chassis and the 458 and 488 appear to do the same.

Do let me know if there is any carry over between the V12 models.

From what I can think of the 550 was upgraded to 575, but that was more a face lift in the traditional sense. The 812 is a heavily face lifted version of the F12.

Today I saw for the first time the 812 superfast. And I have to say in person, it looks fantastic! It was also great spec, dark grey color with brown interior. And I also heard it, when it drove away. What a sound! At first I was a bit sceptic of design, but more pictures I saw, the more it grew on me, and now that I have seen it live in person, I'm sold. It's fabolous! I took couple pictures also...

If that was in Blu Pozzi, that'd be perfect-o.

See Karma In Action As Illegally Parked Ferrari Gets Towed
Aug 08, 2018 at 11:38am By: Christopher Smith
Nobody escapes the parking police in London.
Some might call it a travesty against one of the most amazing supercars ever built. Others might call it hilariously awesome karma. We suspect the owner of this yellow Ferrari 812 Superfast has a few other choice words in mind, but hey, that’s what you get for parking illegally in London.
There isn’t much info on the car, or the owner, or why this Superfast was parked outside Harrods in London. Well, we can probably guess why the Ferrari was near Harrods, and perhaps the driver wasn’t concerned about getting a parking citation. When one can tool around Europe in a $400,000 (£310,568) supercar, one probably doesn’t sweat a measly parking fine – especially when the spot in question is so convenient.
If the driver had returned to the car with a ticket stuck under the wiper blade, that would’ve been just fine. In fact, we suspect that was the plan all along, but as the video above shows, things didn’t go according to plan. Rather than just paying a fine (which some in London prefer to call a parking fee), the Ferrari was unceremoniously hoisted atop a flatbed truck and hauled to the impound yard. The process required net harnesses at all four wheels, connected to a big steel I-beam suspended from a hydraulic arm. For supercar fans it’s certainly a bit unnerving to see the Ferrari dangling like a holiday ornament. Given the cost of the car we bet the workers tasked with the tow were a bit nervous as well. We can only imagine the owner’s response after seeing this video.

London is notorious for being rather unfriendly to cars. According to the Daily Mail, the city takes in £24 million ($30.9 million) … in just three months. So word to the wise – no matter what kind of car you drive, it’s probably in your best interest to either find a legal place to park in London, or just give in and take the bus.

New Ferrari Supercar Teased, Will Debut On September 17

Teased in a special section of their official website that’s normally reserved for those who have at least one Prancing Horse in their collection, this new vehicle is codenamed the Ferrari F176, as per the name of the image.

However, we could be looking at a limited run supercar based on a current product, with Motor1 claiming that it might use the 812 Superfast as a starting point.

Allegedly named the Ferrari 812 Monza, it will probably adopt a different styling on the outside and in the cabin, as well as some mechanical enhancements to emphasize its limited edition stance, if that’s indeed what it is.

Dougy livin' large here.

Finally a car that will make you never forget you took your car keys with you.
(I know GM cars do this as well, but this will wake up your neighborhood)

I expected the Merc to be sub 11 seconds...easy. What's the altitude at Zandvoort?

Tuned E63s don’t seem to be much faster than stock E63s. Guys on the other MB forum blaming the MCT box.

Yes really, but you can read up on it here.
900hp DME/Pureturbo only runs 10.8 - MBWorld.org Forums

Post #46 break things down accurately. The claimed 900hp is exaggerated since a 128mph trap speed indicates 700-730hp at the crank, particularly when compared tuned cars with similar trap times. Various factors affects time (launch, tires, fuel octane, etc.)

Renntech tunes are yielding 130mph & low 10’s 1/4 mile. Nevertheless, if you want all-out straight line speed when it comes to tuning, the RS7 is still the way to go. The F90 should be more of an animal when tuning programs become more advanced.

Anyways... back on topic. Gordon Ramsey has the most impressive 812 I’ve seen to date. Agressive
