I agree with you. I think if one day i will eventually buy this car , i will take the regular coupe over this hard top. The hardtop, when the roof is closed, looks too similar with the coupe, while with the soft top makes this car to have a more distinctive looks and even sexier i guess.

I am afraid, in near future both Coupés and soft-top Convertibles/Spiders/Roadster may disapear. "Why spend alot on a car that is not practical and cannot open its top, or spend alot on a car that you can only drive in good weather for fear that the cloth-roof will not stand rain and snow. Better get two in one."

I like it a lot since I love the 458 italia. Though, I would still pick the coupe than this. I really like the engineering marvel it is with respect to the hardtop going into the back. Truly innovative.

This time the top is housed under the engine cover though... Love it.
