I don't see it, please elaborate.

you'll see that GM mounted the tire (Kumho Ecsta SPT) wrong.

That tire, as GM mounted, would push water into the center of the tread, rather than away from it.
And the weirdness doesn't end there. The tire on the other side of the car looks to be a Michelin PS2.

I am not a Anti-Caddilac guy nor anti-CTS bloke. I like the North American Premium brand actually.

^ said and confessed, just that IMO, not really sure or sold that this new one's design is for the better!? Liked the old one much more...

It`s not really that bad... I could actually live with it. Compared to it`s compeditors (Mercedes E-Class, Audi A6, BMW 5-Series, Lexus GS and Jaguare XF) it looks slightly mature.

The Merc E-Class, BMW 5er and Audi A6 clearly has it beat with interior design by a long shot.
The exterior design stands as world class imo. the interior is not. This is a shame and I blame GM.

I wish the hell Cadillac was it`s own American car company that was not owned by General Motors. It would really be a bright and shining star by now. This is the worlds first car that bought us the very first fully enclosed vehicle with electric lighting... I could go on and on. I really don`t like GM!

First Drive, 2014 Cadillac CTS. Bigger, lighter, better. (Motor Trend)

By now, you've probably seen our first test of the smoking twin-turbo CTS Vsport and you know it's got what it takes to run with the Germans should you encounter them on the street or track. If you're not the sort of person who enters into races, impromptu or planned, you might wonder how the rest of the line -- including the CTS -- manages. Keep reading to find out.The short answer: very well. I was given the opportunity to drive the complete new CTS range in the rolling hills and valleys around Santa Barbara, California, and I can confidently say that the rest of the CTS line is as competitive as the Vsport.Given my experiences0f19c9f479bdc177b6a3970c2d2abf44.webp with the smaller ATS, I wasn't too concerned about the mid-range 3.6-liter V-6 model, but I was apprehensive about the 2.0-liter turbocharged base model. In the ATS, it needed a little work, and the whole turbo-four-in-a-big-car thing didn't make for an especially engaging BMW 5 Series. Did Cadillac get the formula right?Yes it has. I'd be perfectly happy driving the base CTS around with its little turbo four-cylinder humming away under the hood all day long. Torque is ample at throttle tip-in and increases through the mid-range. Past 5000 rpm the horsepower hits its peak right as the torque falls off and really pulls the car to redline. It's no screaming street racer, but it'll never leave you wanting on a freeway on-ramp or when trying to make a pass.

The 2016 Cadillac CTS-V is coming. A 2016 CTS-V prototype recently dazzled spy photographers by stepping out for some testing in little more than swirl camouflage, giving us a sneak peek at the next CTS-V's aggressive new sheetmetal, grille, and bazooka-sized exhaust pipes. This particular Cadillac CTS-V prototype gives us our best look at yet at what the next CTS-V will look like. Up front, the CTS-V gets a new grille dominated by vertical lines, rather than the mesh design that we've seen on the past two generations of CTS-Vs. The new grille mimics the ones we've seen on ATS-V prototypes, leading us to believe that this is the new face of Cadillac's V performance brand. The CTS-V prototype's nose is subtly different from the standard CTS. The lower portion of the grille seems to have been enlarged for better cooling performance, and the side intakes next to the CTS' signature vertical LED light pipes appear to be functional cooling ducts for the brakes. The CTS-V's hood has also been squared-off and given a big power bulge, similar to the hood found on the previous-generation CTS-V.Cadillac covered up the 2016 CTS-V prototype's rear end rather well, but we can see that it gets a quad-tipped exhaust system, a re-designed rear bumper, and a lip spoiler integrated into the trunk lid. Like the old CTS-V, the new model looks to be wearing meaty Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.Hiding under the CTS-V's power bulged hood is likely a version of the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06's supercharged 6.2-liter V-8. While the CTS Vsport makes due with a twin-turbo 3.6-liter V-6 making 420 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque, we expect the CTS-V to put out near 600 horsepower. A six- or seven-speed manual will likely be the standard transmission, with the Corvette Z06's quick-shifting eight-speed automatic an available extra. The 2016 Cadillac CTS-V could be revealed as early as next year's North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

I can't wait to see what the horsepower will be on this thing. Who will be first with 600hp in this segment? Cadillac clearly has the engine (from the Z06) to do it. Those are some serious tires too.

Sure thing.
Be nice if thay offer the Alpha AWD, at least as an option.

Whatever the case this car is going to drop the bomb on the German competition.

What It Is
The eagerly awaited bazooka version of the third-generation Cadillac CTS, designed to fight for America’s honor against its European competitors. Unfortunately, this time around, there won’t be a station wagon or a coupe—or a manual option.
That’s a crime, but the automatic sedan is what sells.
Why It Matters
The first two generations of this velvet Vette have given Cadillac credibility among enthusiasts. The next one will sand down the few rough edges of its predecessors. The CTS-V is a halo car for the brand and for GM as a whole.
Platform, Broadly speaking, the CTS-V will use the ATS/CTS “Alpha” architecture, but with more aluminum onboard.

Powertrain:
Power will come from a supercharged V-8, most likely the 6.2-liter LT4 from the new Corvette Z06. It will make at least 600 horsepower and send the squawk to the rear tires through GM’s new eight-speed automatic.
Competition: Audi S6/S7/RS7, BMW M5/M6 Gran Coupe, Jaguar XFR, Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG.
What Might Go Wrong
The lack of coupe and wagon variants may put off the hard core. And the 420-hp Vsport could make the CTS-V a harder sell.
Estimated Arrival and Price Mid-2015 as a 2016 model, at prices starting around $75,000

Should be introduced shortly
General Motors has quietly unveiled the 2015 Cadillac CTS in a new commercial for OnStar with 4G LTE.
