Cadillac CT5 [Official] Cadillac CT5

The Cadillac CT5 is a mid-size luxury car manufactured and marketed by General Motors under the Cadillac brand since 2019. It is the replacement for the Cadillac CTS.
Maybe LT2 with supercharger. It would be nice if Cadillac would use 4.2l v8 TT from CT6-V but who knows if alpha platform can use that engine.

Yes. I hope its a new V8, not the old one.

definitely sounds like a small displacement V8.
I can also hear the sound of turbochargers spooling as these accelerate.
I remember reading sometime back the CT5 Blackwing was rumored to have up to 650-670hp from a 4.2liter Bi-Turbo V8
coupled with AWD.

I hope it will have an awd too.

Why? If you want AWD you have all the rest: RS6, M5, AMG E.
That is the issue with modern marketing, they want to do everything and dilute their previous work. If I want AWD, I'd look at Audi and Subaru. Don't need another copy, that adds nothing to the original. That is corporate greed, they want every customer, except the one that is individual and does not fit into any larger base.

M5 F10 did very well without AWD.
No it didn't. Have you driven one? I drove a Competition. It was batshit lairy - so unbecoming of the M brand whose previously precise power delivery defined control-ability in traditional NA M cars.
I've never seen such an over-active traction control light in my life and its arse was all over the place, not in a good way at that.

I had a similar experience with my friend's F80(non competition spec) the other day, granted the weather was far from ideal, but it felt overly spiky leading to all sorts of traction issues. It was a handful in an almost freighting kind of way.

Drove the F80 Comp briefly at my local dealer. It was also fidgety and all over the place. But i...

That same friend had a go with the X3m recently, and complained about it having dead pedal feel. Which he attributed it to turbo lag, but I suspect it has more to do with throttle mapping. Maybe you'd have more intel on that?
