Largely generic inside and out and situated in the eve of the featured technologys' era. Within the next 3-4 years time, it may well be rendered "forgettable" and simply fade into the catacombs inhabited by "cars that never really quite were".![]()
Yeah, that's about right. I might even give it a D- just for that crap C-pillar design. Hideous rear 3/4.This is a D+ class car.
All that power and still needs almost four seconds to hit 96 km/h? That's not impressive. And it looks like shit.
Funny, but we both know that I was talking about the segment.
Lets laugh when this car rapes the M3/C63. Oh but that C-pillar....
Not to mention their upcoming Ev^es.
The Lyriq is looking rather promising
It might be, but if GM had any sense they would have launched EVs under a fresh new brand. Calling it a Cadillac is as good as setting it on fire and pushing it off a cliff.

There was a time when Cadillac was one of the best.
Cadillac consistently failed from the late 70's until 2010 or so, and that is why they're a joke today.
That said, the new Escalade is a really nice vehicle as is this CT5 V Blackwing.

Are you sure it was the IAA 1993? GM pushed with this model in 1991 in Europe. The Eldorado version was magnificent.I must say that I really liked these:

I recall having taken a close look at the STS-inside and out-at the 1993 IAA venue in Frankfurt. It certainly impressed me. And it was one of the very, very few cars that GM North America was able to actually sell here in Europe. Very few units-but still, one would spot an STS every now and then. They were distributed via large Opel dealerships, I recall.
My father had that Sts'96 back in 90s. In Europe. It was pretty good for that time. Low,wide and long. We raced it against our friend's e38 740. STS was faster.I must say that I really liked these:
