Looks like the folks over at AMG have finally been given the reign of their own garage and told: "Ok,ok, ju vant tu get krazy, zen go ahead!"

Cant wait to see what they will do to the SL

Don't worry too much........the C55 had about 30 more HP than the E46 M3 too.

As long as the M3 is lighter than the C63 (hopefully), everything will be all right for the BMW fans.

Not in the looks department though.

30hp and 200nm extra. I dont see how a lighter M3 is going to match that. I doubt M3 will be the better trackcar. I loved the M3 when it arrived but after seeing the C63 I dont love the M3 anymore.
I hope the M3 Sedan will look a lot more aggressive than M3 Coupé.

couldn't agree with you more, but in my case it is rs4 who is the victim of c63.

The C63's bulges on the hood makes the bulge on the M3 look as 1990 as the Spice Girls. MB came through strong with the front end design of the C63. Very modern, classy and Benzzzzzz.

OK, the car look very aggressive. Perhaps even too aggressive for a Benz. The front is overdone & almost cartoonish - way too busy. And some said IS-F & M3 looked overdone & ricey???

C63 AMG: Aggressive? Yes. Classy? Definitely not.

Modern?

You have to be kidding, right? Or you do not have a clue about what modern means nowadays? The biggest problem I have with this car is that it looks ... old. Yes, old. The way the design is executed reminds me of BMW's late 90's design. Not modern at all. Especially this pic & angle are not flattering (with no special PS effects & special lighting):



Benz? Old-ish look is very Benz indeed, but overdone aggressiveness isn't.


Engine & performance figures are impressive. Yet it was expected C63 would come with approx 450HP. Nothing unusual here. AMGs have always been torque & power monsters ... therefore the nickname "Drag Kings".

But with this styling C63 is more Drag Queen than King.

I like this car a lot; it takes traditional Mercedes styling cues to the 21st century and combines them with appropriately aggressive details in a way that creates one of the best-looking sedans, period. Judging by the comments here, most members (apart from a few BMW stalwarts) seem to like it, too. Some seem to think it's OTT, but I'm willing to bet most of them just need a bit of time to adjust.

OMFG!!! After finally picking my jaw up off the ground and wiping the drool off my keyboard, I'm finally able to post something. That is one seriously impressive automobile. The intentions are so obviously CLEAR!!! on all fronts, specs and looks. It reminds me of something from the old school transformers cartoon, I'm almost afraid when I look at it. I'm waiting for it to change into something and just start blowing sh!t up.

Obviously this car means business. If you're a true fan of cars and the advancement thereof, this is an amazing car. The competition between the German brands is producing some wonderful offerings. I can't wait to see the stig get his hands on these new cars. Talk about power to the people.

The C Class interior is its biggest let down... It's simply boring, nothing more to it... It might not feel cheap but it dam well looks it.. I just can't understand how you can design the S class interior then come out with this rubbish.. sorry but thats how I feel

yes I agree the interior isnt up to the same standard as the exterior.



Exterior is top notch (except for the gigantic sidemirrors) but I can live with them.

Yeah, side mirrors are bit too big and i don't like those side holes in the front bumper. Everything else is cool, especially the hood.

Honestly last longer. Unfortunaly there are many mercedes and audi fans that will keep dissing BMW even though they like the product. Not everyone is giving credits or beging honest, instead they will keep on bashing.
