The Bugatti Chiron is a mid-engine two-seater sports car designed and developed in Germany by Bugatti Engineering GmbH. Agreed; the Sunday Times, Harry's Garage, and Pistonheads are my preferred YouTube review sources at the moments. Others like Carfection, Autocar, and Motortrend (save Randy Pobst) try way too hard with little substance.

Immediately after watching I'm suggested a Salmondrin vlog...

when Alex does the reviews for Carfection they end up being among the best

Can't wait for Thomas from Autogefuhl to do his review, it will be the most in depth and thorough review of the Chiron.

Yeah... now try and do the same tuning to the Chiron engine. It would fly out of the body, melt the tires and kill the person inside with the G-Force

Try doing 50 drag races with the Chiron back to back in that Golf. Try doing a 1000mile grand tour. Try beating the Chiron in being luxorious with anything that was shown there.

This is how I see Vids like this:

It's like meeting the real alpha male, who is strong, great health, quick witted, charming, inteligent and being, great friend, handsome and financially free who is then compared to some roided freak because he can bench more and for that reason some people will say that this freak is better.

With the Chiron it's not just about how fast it is but how a machine this fast can do everything else with ease. It can drift, it is comfortable it is well built it is luxorious and it feels very special. Everything that golf, all those tuned cars aren't.

Despite the test drives coming out one after another, I can't help feeling that the slightly bitter taste in my mouth..Really sorry guys, I know this is possibly the most glorious car out there currently, but hear me out on this one;
1) The car was unveiled last year at the Geneva Motor Show, and test mules had been running around for almost two years before its debut last year. In other words, they had a lot of time before or after Geneva 2016 for them to get the car ready. Under these circumstances, how come it's just in the past few weeks that the test drives have been taking place?
2) The biggest sales pitch of Bugatti for this car was that it is "more fun & engaging to drive than the Veyron, and that people could use it on track if they wanted to (they even put a RACE mode for crying out loud). Yet under these circumstances, there isn't a single review where the car is put through its paces around a track

Please don't get me wrong, my intention is neither to criticize Bugatti nor to act as devil's advocate. Just that these are questions that got me thinking, and was curious to know if there is a logical explanation for them (there surely is, almost certainly)...What do you guys reckon?

But the bug isn't a race car, Nick. Even if it has a race mode.
But I agree, it looks like the same controlled environment for all the reviews. Top Gear review in 5 minutes, we'll see how that goes.

Anyone buying the Veyron to use on the track, is buying the wrong car. Engineers have designed and optimised to be as stable and comfortable doing 200mph+ in a straight line. That inherently compromises its ability to excel on the track where the 918 and P1 are superior but also offer comparably punchy acceleration up to legal speeds.

There's nothing wrong with criticising the Chiron. It's an automotive marvel but also a trophy that VAG would not be happy to see journalists criticise. Hence why the the media drive took place on long stretches of roads perfect for the ultimate GT.

another one of their sales pitch was that it was gonna be better than the veyron in every conceivable way, a target which it has reached according to reviewers.

i don't think koenigsegg has anything that can go up against the chiron when EVERYTHING has been lifted up in quality, in other words, it's without competition
