The options surely do sound steep, but as they said,
1) once you buy the car, the maintenance and what not are all included in the price
2) Sure, some people might prefer a Pagani Huayra, a Koenigsegg, a McLaren P1, a LaFerrari etc, but none of those come close to the Chiron in terms of reliability, creature comfort and all that
3) Bugatti, unlike other hypercar brands, have an excellent reputation for customer satisfaction. Even if something does need repair, it's done with absolute care as well as immediacy

Yea, you can tell he loves cars. He goes really in-depth and reviews things as mundane as a mid-1990's Toyota Camry to a LaFerrari. Looking forward to his Chiron review.

Not to sidetrack the Chiron thread too much...

Alot of it may have to do with how long his videos are and how detailed they are. Speaking for myself these days, if I watch an online video, if it's not less than 10 minutes, I avoid it (and thus I don't visit his page as often). And usually, I run it on in the background while doing more pressing stuff, so I am not as attentive. With his videos, there's alot of info, so you got to be attentive. For example, I just saw his 918 review, but I just skipped to random bits here and there and moved on after 5 minutes. As a fan, though, I hope he doesn't change his format, he's doing fellow gearheads a great service.

rarer cars tend to get more views as a few his vids are up in millions of views

True, but most Pagani aficionados I know tend to prefer Pagani's craftmanship over Bugatti's build quality+power (That said, indeed, 1500 bhp...How could you possibly say no?)

It sure is...It really doesn't have a direct competitor if you think about it...A Pagani, LaFer, and etc are too bare & uncomfortable, while a Bentley/Rolls are way too slow and ham-fisted
