Chiron [Official] Bugatti Chiron

The Bugatti Chiron is a mid-engine two-seater sports car designed and developed in Germany by Bugatti Engineering GmbH. It was manufactured in Molsheim, France, by French automobile manufacturer Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S.. The successor to the Bugatti Veyron, the Chiron was first shown at the Geneva Motor Show on 1 March 2016.
And I don't think the Rimac Nevera could ever weigh "1600KG" even as a track only car. Because the way Lotus are struggling with a much smaller battery pack.

But Thank You anyway. Next time get the the engine clip LOL!
He told me that prototype is stripped to the bone with removed passenger seat and everything unnecessary. They also installed smaller and much lighter battery pack.
Maybe if we had had a few more beers he would have sent me that video:D
Interesting if true.

However, there is no way the car is gonna weigh only 1900kg as a V16 hybrid (or 2000hp hybrid of any kind). That's proably one of those, as they say, targets - which is never gonna be met.
I forgot to mention that the car will be slightly smaller in dimensions than Chiron. But how they managed to fit V16 and batteries is unknown to me. I'm just passing information I've heard.

Smaller than Chiron with a length of 4544mm? That's weird.
But 1000+hp V-16 Naturaly aspirated ICE is really impressive. Does it focus on top speed or track performance? I guess it is still a luxury GT.

Well don't worry about it too much we've a few contacts on the Bugatti side I'm sure something will surface. As for the Rimac "GT3" it'd sure be good to see it sometime, Mate probably pulled the plug, if that car exists, because the standard Nevera is already massively quick and then utlising a smaller battery pack means obviously other compromises.

But now you've got a contact develop that relationship man it's cool to have!🙂

Bugatti confirm she's been delivered to her (secretive?) owner!🙂

I can only confirm that rumor about Chiron successor. That guy that works for Rimac today showed me a dyno test video of that V16 cosworth engine so i guess that is happening :eek:It revs above 9000rpm and sounds absolutely insane!
Naturaly aspirated ICE develops over 1000hp. In combination with Rimac sourced electric motors, total output will be slightly above 2000hp.
With weight of around 1900kg it will outperform Nevera and everything else currenty on the market.
I have heard some additional information about interior. There will be analog gauges (i guess speedometar) and retractable screens.
Apparently we will see that hybrid monster as early as next year and it will shock the world!

Next Rimac product will be Nevera cabrio, but hardcore non street legal Nevera got axed due to unknown reasons. There is one prototype of that hardcore Nevera model with weight shredded to only 1600kg but it will never see production.
They already started development of Nevera successor, C3, but it is in very early stages.
Any new info on the Chiron successor or when we’re suppose to see it? As mentioned by others, it seems Bugatti has its hands full with the Mistral and Bolide.

Bugatti with the models you've mentioned are fully sold out until 2025. The production of them may go deep into that year. The Bugatti Chiron replacement, a hybrid is slated for 2026/2027 when I last heard. It was in a Rimac factory tour video. I'm sure Mate said that.

I thought Mate stated last year that they’ll show something ‘next year’ as in 2023, hope that will be the case but it is understandable that they won’t show anything with such a production backlog.

He did, but either an early design concept or design model or perhaps a pre production prototype. But he's very busy with Rimac, very, but if they reveal the full on replacement for the Bugatti Chiron early, then Happy Days no one will be as happy as me!🙂

Is there any news on chiron's successor? Will it really be a v16 hybrid? Is there any more news?

Well, if it's in Sweden why not set up a race at the Koenigsegg drag strip? I mean it'd settle an EIGHT year old mystery as to who's the quickest to 200MPH?

But it never happens.:)

And look at the 2016 style paintwork! No words except, SICK!

Hey, guys, any news on the chiron replacement here? Remember Mr. rimac said there would be some surprises this summer, but hasn't heard anything yet.

PS: it is quite peculiar how fashionable copper has become over the last year or so (most recent launch: BMW i7 M70), since around the time Andrew Tate's unusual copper Pur Sport was revealed; the only precedent that I can recall in recent times being the launch of the Cupra brand identity with the copper accents a few years ago (which makes sense, cuprum is actually Latin for copper and cupra one of the plural forms).
