That quite high praise coming from C&D who haven't really liked modern BMW's , they didn't even like the universally loved 5 series.

That's nice but please do provide the two OEM part numbers and their supplier catalog pricing for us to see as supporting information to your claim.Of course there is cost cutting ,for example,the so called crystal gear shift lever in G05,in fact,it's made up of cheap plastics,it costs cheaper than the traditional shift lever Bmw used before.

It seems like some are piling on the messenger. Unless the photo has been altered, that is terrible. I have been looking around lately at some new BMW X5's and also noticed that some of the leather in the back seats looks a little "loose". This was only looking through windows on vehicles outside in chilly New England, so take it for what it is wort...
The photo is evidence of a possible issue. The accompanying statement, and inferences thereof, is anywhere between 100% fact and 100% troll. In my humble opinion, Gdm has very low credibility when it comes to speaking fact, so I'm going to go along with calling for sources. That is not to say I don't accept that the X5 could have a problem with it's...
