I doubt it. It's a SAC (X2, X4, X6) specific line.

What can you tell us about the X6? Also...will the wheelarches grow on the X3/4M?

Based on these pics, I would say the only are in which the GLC outshines the X4 is the rear end.

Overall, a pretty good effort by BMW. The interior looks a segment above the GLC and Q5.

A segment above? Going to go with a hard no on that one. That being said, I actually think the X4's weakness is the front. Overall fantastic effort by BMW.

Boot space has grown from 500 litres to 525 litres. Just 25 litres less than the X3. I guess the X3's trump card is the vertical capacity gained with a luggage net.

You either have not sat in a new X3 or you have unreasonable expectations. I attended an X3 vs competitors test drive at my local dealer two weeks ago - I can point out exactly where the Q5 and GLC interiors fall short of the X3.
In the end it's down to personal taste and your - understandably subjective - views cannot be taken as established fact. Judged against its competitors BMW have done a wonderful job with X3/X4's cabin.

I’m a huge BMW fan since years. And I sat already the first day when it arrived as a show car here in a spanish dealer. I had very high expectations about what was said here in the forum about its interior and maybe yes that it’s down to personal taste, but there are things that I really dislike about this interior design language. All the double frames and strange angles they really bother me. About the vents I had high expectations seeing already the X7 concept that they will get rid of those black plastic gills, but I’m sure we will see the same plastic solution even in next gen. What really bothers in 1er follows with the same material up to 7er. I don’t even mention the side asimetric plastic vents, but in the center console that you can’t avoid to not look at it. Now chose a X3 with shiny console and do a test drive in a pretty sunny weather (especially in southern countries), so you will understand what I’m talking about, cause personal taste and practicality are 2 diferent things.

I would encourage people around here to touch and press the central console of the X3. It feels as well built as the G30 one. This is the key are where one can realise the MBs are cutting corners.

The interior quality of the latest (RWD only, of course, the FWD are on an entire different territory) BMW interiors is back to where it was before the Bangle era.

That won't be hard to guess. X5 front and rear and X4-ish rear end.

And not a bad thing. X5 has higher placed tail lights that are much thinner than the existing X5. As does the G20,X7 and Z4.
The 8er? You can see that evident on the M8 GTE.

The X3s interior quality is impressive and at least equal to or better than the Q5 and GLC. Where BMW has saved money are all hard plastics in the lower portions of the cabin, areas that you wouldn’t routinely touch. But hey you can’t have everything at this price point and that is to be expected.

I respect your opinion. As someone who generally prefers BMW to Mercedes Benz (in most but not all instances) and Audi, I simply feel that their approach to interior design resonates better with me. I prefer the ergonomics of all the controls and switchgear in a BMW cabin over those in competitors' offerings. So much so that I choose - along with scores more - to buy a BMW so it is what it is. I don't like the C-Class interior (I think it's very good by the way) and have little appreciation for how it is transposed into the GLC siblings. Poor effort in my book and wholly unsuited to the image of an SUV. So, if we're talking personal taste, interior styling is one thing but over-familiarity? Merc takes the cake in this regard.

The Audi Q5's interior is the biggest disappointment for me. I went on - based on the press release pics and my experience with the A4 - about how it was class-leading but boy was I wrong. The entire lower hemisphere of the dashboard is hard plastic. Like a Subaru. Yikes.

For anyone interested in this class of sport utility coupé - I urge you to take a drive, evaluate specifications and configure trim levels to your liking and then compare it to the competition.
I think you'll find the refinement, sure-footedness, technology and overall build quality to be superior in the BMW. I am really impressed with the level of differentiation that BMW has given the X3/4 interior over similarly-underpinned sedan family members. In addition, there's a pleasing rugged, chunkiness to the interior which is more in keeping with the image of the car.

As for shiny surfaces, in bright sunlight, well it gets pretty bright down here in sunny SA too and I can't say that I was adversely affected by any surface reflections when I drove the X3.

I like the new design rear lights that are on the X4 and are about to appear on the 8er. But I am concerned that if they over-use it (or something too similar) throughout the line-up, it's going to get boring real fast.

Where do I sign? I’ve relocated to dubai the last couple of months - so this is defientely going to be my first big purchase - Does the M40i only come in X M sport? I’d prefer it with the normal M sport package

Anyone seen any pics of the non-M Sport derivatives like X Line?

Only the ones EnI posted at the top of the page. -> BMW X4: Modelle & Ausstattungen
Interesting that there will be an M Sport X, available for the X2, will also be an option for the X4. The added silver cladding is quirky on the X2 but looks silly and tacky on the X4.

I have also noticed that the X4 has leather on the transmission tunnel like the G30 5-Series and F25 X3. The G01 X3 transmission tunnel surround is plastic.

^ But the X3 is the only one with 'metal' buttons like the 7er...weird.

Underside of the B pillar comes to mind. They should put a bit of velours on that.
